Great place but they need just a designated cashier on weekends. Lines are way to long and the quick trip for oil or washer fluid you’re stuck in a 10 min line.

My battery was dying on my way home and the store had just closed, but I called and Tony offered to stay to help me! I bought a battery and he installed it on his own time. I will definitely be going back. What great customer service. They really care about their customers!
P. S. The store is in Bellflower not Long Beach by the way.

I asked several of the workers what oil they recommended for my car and not one of them gave me one straight answer. I think they were all high, because I re-​phrased my question 3 different ways and they still didn’t understand what I was asking. ALL I NEEDED WAS THE BEST OIL for my car., Very easy. They have systems that calculate everything for them… so bizarre.

I was looking for a generic radiator overflow bottle kit for my buddies ’67 Chevelle. I stopped by «another» auto parts store looking for one and the guy starts trying to look it up for a specific car. «No, I’m looking for a… gen-​er-​ic… overflow kit! After going back and forth he finally said «We don’t carry anything like that» Hmm… OK then!
I get to my buddies house and call 3 other auto parts stores asking for the same. Once I called O’Reilly’s they confidently said «Yeah, we’ve got 2 sizes, large and small.» «Awesome, I’ll be right over!»
As I walk in, the guy at the counter points me down the back wall and bingo! Just what I need sitting right there in 2 sizes! I grab one and pay. I’m in and out in less than 5 minutes, SCHWEET!
Plus’s: a good variety of parts and accessories in stock, plus helpful and friendly staff!

Probably one of the better auto parts chain stores in the country right now. A bit more professional than the boys at Pep, and waaay better than AZ.
They have a good wholesale program for repair shops. I use them to spot buy certain supplies when needed like NAO! Only reasons I don’t buy more aren’t their fault; I buy most of my parts wholesale from the same company they buy them, and their store is across town. I’m not sure about the quality of some of their on-​the-​shelf parts, but they should be able to special order you anything you need.
O’reilly stores everywhere have really saved my bacon when buying distant used cars and motorhomes on the weekend. They had the belts I needed and didn’t bat an eye when I came in after dark covered with grease streaks and dirt and pebbles and twigs ground into my back. Yayyyy O’Reilly! I give them 2 thumbs up for these situations.
