Good place to go to. She is very professional. And pays attention to all the customers with great customer skills.

My husband lost a lot of weight and needed major alterations on his suits. Amy did a great job with a challenging project. The suits look new again and fit beautifully. In addition the price was good and the service was cheerful and professional. We will definitely come back.

I had grown accustom to receiving marginal to just down right unbelievably poor service during almost every bridal vendor appointment I had made. I guess that’s what happens when your planning a modest wedding and not a bank busting $ 120,000.00 affair. *****I am looking at you Davids Bridal Burlington and Hagan Barkley Village.
Anyway, all of my built up vendor animosity quickly melted when I arrived for my scheduled appointment at Amy’s. Not only was she there and ready to answer questions and give helpful advice. But she even suggested ideas I had never even dreamed were possible on my budget :) The alterations made my dress fit so well I cried and I am not a crier. She made sure I was happy, comfortable and content with the ENTIRE process.

I like the reviews, would like to find a tailor, but every time I call during business hours I get a recording, it doesn’t say where I’ve called, (which I really don’t like with a business) and no one has bothered to reply to the two messages I’ve left for alterations.
Maybe she’s not there anymore?

Amy is an amazing business owner. She is extremely talented and fairly priced. She was recommended to me by a friend. I was skeptical because I had never had anything altered before. The bridesmaid dress was ordered over the phone and was 3 sizes too small.
Amy turned it into a corset and it looked wonderful. She also worked miracles with a dress my mom bought for the wedding. My mom looked incredible in the dress and Amy had put in a bra and some clasps for support. She is truly gifted at her craft. It was money well spent! I am taking my wedding dress to her as well. :)

I needed a last minute alteration to my suit pants and Amy was able to get it done in the couple of days before she went on vacation. The price was super reasonable and she did a great job! Amy will be getting my business in the future for sure.

I’ve been taking my clothing repairs to Amy for many years now and must say that Amy really goes the extra mile with her clients. And as far as price, she is very fair. I highly recommend her to all my clients.

Amy is a very talented woman and she runs a great business. I went to her for the first time a year ago when I needed my oversized wedding dress tailored down to fit my small frame. I had «interviewed» several other alterations places in Bellingham to get a price quote and an estimate on how long it would take. Every place I tried was either far too expensive, too «sketchy,» or said I would have to wait months before my dress would be ready.
I tried Amy’s as a last resort. I’m so glad I did! Instead of calling ahead, I walked right in. And although she seemed busy, Amy immediately made time to do a fitting right then and there. She was very sweet and very upfront about the costs and time frame. The price was amazing and she said that she would work hard to have my dress back to me within weeks. I was sold.
During each fitting, she made me feel like I was the most important customer in the world. And when I finally got my dress back, it fit absolutely perfectly! And I must say that it probably wasn’t an easy dress to tailor. She had to take it in around 3 sizes, the fabric was very delicate and there were many many layers and ruffles. I also really appreciated her giving me multiple options for the bustle (one more complicated/​expensive and one a bit simpler/​cheaper) instead of just doing it and surprising me with a large bill.
And for the cherry on top of this lovely experience: As I was paying the bill, Amy suggested that I purchase one of the zippered wedding gown garment bags to protect my dress, instead of the celo bag I was currently using. As a bride on a very tight budget, I told her I couldn’t afford it. And she said, «well, I think you need it so I’ll give it to you for free.»
From start to finish I received star treatment from Amy. As a small business owner, she deserves to succeed. I highly recommend you go to Amy for your alterations needs.
