We had just visited the shop next door where the frumpy lady wouldn’t talk to us at the Penny Lane antique store and decided to head next door to this shop to see if this shop was any better. There were piles of stuff on the front sidewalk that we had to navigate through to get to the front door including what appeared to be a fiberglass car topper(WTF?) This shop was packed full of all sorts of things with a narrow winding pathway to get in and around the shop. We noticed some interesting oil paintings as we walked in and stopped to check them out. We didn’t hear a peep or see anyone. We walked down the isle towards the center of the store and checked out some old pottery flower frogs. Still no sign of anyone. On the wall we noticed a Davidson tinted photo and had to check it out up close. Up high on the back wall were some interesting larger paintings but the artist names were hard to see. Soon we noticed what we think was the shop owner slumped down in his chair down behind a complicated display case arrangement in the middle of the shop reading a book. Any sleeping was not verified though it could have been nap time. The narrow pathway led us into the back of the shop where were forced to walk into vintage clothing land. Lots of dresses and ladies clothes which did nothing for us but maybe the college crowd digs that stuff. We quickly got out of that area and went along the other side of the shop and headed towards the front. We noticed the owner never looked up and must of have been in the middle of a good read or a smutty book. We wandered our way back to the front of the store checking out some old vases, more art work and some small furniture along the way. Still not a peep from the owner. Quietly we exited the shop with all of our cash still in hand.
