I’m happy to say that I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant with my second baby thanks to Dr. Branigan and his amazing staff. After trying to conceive on our own for four years, we went to Bellingham IVF desperate for help. Not only did I feel safe, cared for and understood, I was pregnant within a few short months. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this practice. My son is the light of my life and I feel forever indebted to them for helping us create a family. If you are struggling with infertility, give them a call! They are also less expensive than some of the large outfits down south because they run a small local practice with one doctor and one nurse coordinator. I loved seeing and building a relationship with my caregivers through this emotional and nerve wracking time as opposed to seeing a different person at each appt. Dr. B and his team are truly the best and I would highly recommend them to anyone ready to start a family.

First time seeing Dr. Branagan I could tell he was the guy to get it done. Very thorough and knows what he is doing. Very clear of how the process works and I learn a lot about my body and how to give yourself the best chance at getting pregnant. A month later when I was ready to get the IUI insemination it was quick and easy. 3 weeks later after getting my blood test I was pregnant 1st try! Thank you soo much for saving me time and money by being clear and giving me the best chance. I would highly recommend coming to see Dr. Branagan

I went to see Dr. Branagan and he told me my only option for getting pregnant was Invitro Fetilization costing $ 15k. I asked him how sure he was that I could not get pregnant and he told me that he was«100% sure I could not get pregnant without invitro.» I kept trying to tell him that the problem was that I did not make enough progesterone to sustain a pregnancy.(I had experienced the same problem while trying to conceive my son in CA and my doc had treated it successfully with progesterone and my old doc seemed to think this was a common problem.) Branagan was arrogant and said my doc was wrong and he refused to listen to me. He assured me progesterone was not the problem and the problem was my old eggs. Sure enough, two months after I stopped seeing Branagan I got pregnant WITHOUT his help. I started to miscarry(with heavy bleeding) due to lack of progestone(as I had suspected.) I called Branagan begging/desperate for him to see me since Bellingham OBGYN could not see me for 2 weeks. I begged him for a prescription for progesterone or for an appointment to see him. He said that if he had helped me to get pregnant he would have seen me, but since he did not help me get pregnant he would NOT see me and he could not prescribe progesterone without seeing me. I felt completely abandoned by this guy who was happy to take my money a couple of months earlier. Branagan refused to help in any way even though he knew I had been trying to conceive for 4 years. I felt like I was just a number and all he cared about was the $ he lost for IVF. If you are actually thinking about using this doctor be sure to ask him what his plan is for the day you do get pregnant. Getting pregnant is only the first step, keeping a pregnancy is just as important for many women who have problems sustaining a pregnancy. BEFORE you make an appointment with this doctor(or any other) ask them if they will continue to help you so long as you need it at the beginning of your pregnancy while you are waiting to establish your first appointment with your OBGYN.(I found out the hard way that OBGYN’s here in Bellingham won’t see you until you are 6 weeks pregnant, even if you are having problems like a miscarriage.) Thank goodness my General Practitioner was willing to see me immediately and she took my word and blindly prescribed progesterone suppositories starting immediately since she knew it saved my pregnancy in the past. It was completely out of her scope of her typical practice, but she was able to save my pregnancy and it worked! Needless to say, my lab tests for that day showed that I was RIGHT and my progesterone level was at 8(which is miscarriage level) and not strong enough to support a healthy pregnancy. If I had not been able to see my General Practitioner at that very moment, I would have miscarried within hours. I kept taking the progesterone for my entire first trimester and I kept testing my progesterone levels for the entire first trimester, and luckily I was able to sustain a level of 36 for the remainder of my pregnancy thanks to the hormone suppositories. Phew! I am thankful every day for my General Practitioner, but I also wanted to share my story with other women so they know to ask the right questions. If you feel that your infertility doctor is not listening to you, then it means you need to find a different doctor. Now I have a very healthy baby girl who is amazing and I am so thankful for my General Practitioner who saved this pregnancy.
