Dean Bank – Pulaski Boulevard, Bellingham

soooo annoying everytime i go in to this location i am confronted by a rude staff member who makes you feel like an idiot if you dont know everything about banking. i cant tell you how many times the tellers at this bank have ruined my day. and their policies are ridiculous and it seems staff members are not on the same page. i know i have gone in to this location and withdrew from my passbook account without the passbook present, recently i tried to withdraw without the passbook present and they said *do you have your passbook? no well you cant withdraw from the passbook account without it* i was so mad… the teller than said *well do you have a checking account youd like me to look up* i said yeah she did and i withdrew the majority that was present something i didnt want to do… what i dont understand is why i can withdraw from one account no problem but i am all of a sudden required to have a booklet present to withdraw from another… meanwhile they wouldnt bitch if i was trying to deposit money would they! but heaven forbid i withdraw MY money without a passbook.

The love/​hate relationship starts here.
I will start with the love part, seeing the world needs love, sweet, love… I know I could not even write that with a straight face.
OK. I am not kidding. The commercial that just came on as soon as I wrote that sentence was the Hershey’s kiss commercial with that song. Freaky… So I apologize for that crack, love IS what the world needs!
Back to the review.
I love this branch because they remember me and do not make me jump thru hoops for the simplest tasks (my constant wrapped coin returns). The tellers actually try to engage you in a decent conversation while your transaction is being completed. Plus they give my pooch a cookie when I use the drive-​thru.
The flip side, the hate part of the relationship. I can never get someone on the phone to discuss my questions. It seems right on the mark seeing the automated society we live in.
But please the branch serves such a small segment. Half the people in this state have no clue where the hell Bellingham is. So I figure that answering the phone is no problem for all the ladies they have working there.
All in all I like my little branch and the dog likes the cookies!
