My friend has been bragging about how good Goat Mountain Pizza is and I finally relented. What a nice surprise! Pizzas and Salad are tasty and filling. I enjoyed the choices of local beers and cider on tap. I had no idea they had seating on the second floor. Plenty of space with big windows for sunshine.

This is the best pizza you will ever have. The crust is so unique. It’s something between thin and thick crust with the bottom crunchy. I think they change the menu based on what’s fresh in the season. They have plenty of vegetarian choices. Also make sure you ask for the balsamic vinegar. Adding some on top of the pizza really enhances the taste.

Ambience, ice cold frothy brew, what more could you want? Pizza is by the lb, and they have a huge variety. The décor is quaint and offers seating up top and down at the base floor. Excellent high quality ingredients and a huge variety of local beers on tap. Great zaaaa!

Employees more interested in the music. Fried my slices two times in a row… late to pick up kids. What a joke on a day when no one was in the place. Wednesday. Lame sauce

Just literally was verbally attacked by the cashier at this place for complaining about them throwing out food in front of me, the same food I had just ordered a piece of and instead of offering me the rest of the slice of saving it for one of countless hungry mouths right outside they just threw it in the trash and then when I called them on it they got defensive and started justifying it by saying they only earned minimum wage, as if that made it ok to not practice basic human consideration and planetary conservation whenever we can. Then they proceeded to start cussing at me and telling me to ‘GETTHEFUCKOUT’ because I was continuing to argue my point to them about the wastefulness of their actions. I used to love this place but I highly recommend going somewhere else until they fire those employees who obviously are poor examples of human beings.

The best pizza I’ve ever had. Crust is amazing and they are generous with the toppings. Nice locations. Goat Mountain is one of my husband and my favorite places to hike so the name called to us. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Came in again today for a nice solo lunch to celebrate and treat myself. I had a clean cancer scan and decided that pizza was the way to go! Boy was i right! I had two rounds, the first was a sausage with onions mix(very good) and a beet goat cheese(not too goatie). Then on my second trip i tried a potato bacon(a best seller for a reason) and a cherry tomato one(not my favorite but still very good, i would have added balsamic vinegar) With a bottomless rootbeer my whole bill with 25%tip was $ 11.80 The guy and girl working were very friendly, they saw i was using the siracha and offered me a special hot sauce that she had made, i ate all of it! !!! I left very happy and satisfied. Will definitely be back. The peanut chicken thai combo i had last time is still haunting me!

Decided on the slice and Coca Cola in a bottle for seven bucks. I went to the potato, bacon, leek. So hard to decide! I almost went for the carmelized onion Stilton and walnuts. Very friendly, very fast and very tantalizing. YUM… the best slice on the fly in the seating area looks really hip too. Definitely a stop the next time I go to the movies.

I am more of a thin crust person. Nice that you can buy pizza by the lb. could have used a little more topping on such a thick slice of focaccia. Very flavorful and good service.

What a cool place to grab a artisan slice in downtown Bellingham! I was up in my old hood for a couple days and had time for a midday break — what better way to settle into ancient stomping grounds than a new place I’ve never been hu? I love how downtown Bellingham is becoming home to new places like this, who have a devotion to product and a specific idea. I love businesses that don’t try and do everything, but rather, just focus on producing a single idea really well. Goat Mountain’s menu is just that. Pizza, a couple salads, basic other offerings. The pizza has a crust that is almost Focaccia like… and then all in one bite, nothing like that too. It’s both crispy and soft, and airy, but deeply satisfying. Totally unique! As is a ton of their toppings. Mine had thin, au gratin thin, slices of potato and chunks of quality bacon. Delicious! and reasonably priced for the portion. I like the upstairs seating, and the customer service was just fine! I vote YES on this hometown gem. Keep it up guys.

Some really delicious pizza there, albeit slightly different than any other I’ve had. When they re-back the focaccia style crust it becomes amazingly crispy, light and delicious. And with topping combos like yukon gold potatoes, bacon and cheddar, how can you resist! Great local brews on tap as well, and they pour pitchers!

There are a lot of reasons to visit Goat Mountain Pizza… they’ve got inventive toppings, a small-but-decent beer list, and really good cookies. But there is one reason I keep coming back, and that’s their insane, sinfully-delicious crust. I would not be surprised to find out there’s a stick of butter in every slice of this stuff. It’s crunchy-yet-chewy, melts in your mouth, and honestly you could put an old shoe on it and I’d still eat it. It’s THAT good. But best to try one of their delicious toppings, right? For example, their bacon-potato is DELICIOUS. But come on in and check out the rotating menu for yourself — it’s never the same twice, but always delicious. It may seem kinda spendy, but you only need a couple of slices of this pizza to fill you up. They have outdoor seating, too!

What courage they have. This is not your standard pizza place that seems to be the going trend. This place has done something different and wonderful. The ingredients are great, the pepperoni outstanding. Come here for something different. Also, we enjoyed the root beer.

This is by far my favorite pizza place in town! It is incredibly innovative, but they don’t just toss anything on a slice of pizza. There has not been a single pizza that I have disliked, and I keep wanting to go back. One of the confusing bits was how you pay. Pizza is not sold by the slice, whole, or suggested amount. Instead, they have very large pizzas and you tell them how much you would like. Feel free to mix and match. They will then charge based on the weight of the pizza. This kinda seems like buying ice cream or frozen yogurt, but it’s healthier(I guess – not sure). Anyway, it’s a cool place.

Awesome pizza! Lots of different kinds. We had carmelized onion, walnut and arugula. We had potato and bacon. We had pepperoni. They were all amazingly good! My favorite was the onion and arugula. They had a good beer selection on tap. The service was really nice. The place is pretty cute too with a small downstairs and a bit more room upstairs. We will be back!

Goat Mountain Pizza is hands down the best pizza in Bellingham. I went with one other person and we ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza, a soda, and a sea salt chocolate-chip cookie. With tip this cost $ 14. The pizza’s crust was perfectly thick, buttery, and crunchy. The sauce tasted fresh, tangy and well seasoned. The pizza was served with a quarter sized chocolate chip cookie that was delicious. The sea salt cookie was $ 2 and was definitely worth it! So delicious. GO to Goat Mountain Pizza right now! If you go between 2 – 5 you can purchase a happy hour slice for $ 3.50. They also serve multiple kinds of beer!

Overheard tonight: — So, all the cheese on the pizza here is goat cheese? — Uh, none of the cheese tonight is goat cheese. Goat Mountain is a peak in the Mount Baker wilderness. The food here is amazing. They have one salad, and it’s the best salad I have ever had. I’m typically not into fancy-schmancy pizza, but I really enjoy their fancy-schmancy pizzas. I bypassed my standby pepperoni tonight for potato and bacon with truffle oil — so good. There was a selection with caramelized onions, stilton, and arugula that looked amazing. A delicious, good-sized salad, a slab of pizza about 8×5″, and a can of soda will set you back about $ 12 plus tip. Service here is also very good — everyone is very pleasant and always happy to talk to you about how the pizza is priced(by weight) and the interesting toppings. (Hahaha…only in Bellingham would someone who is a gluten-free vegan head out for a meal of pizza and then complain when they can’t accommodate her…)

Cool location downtown. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I liked the upstairs area with a bit of a view. Pizza was good, and it was high quality, but unfortunately that did mean it was a bit more expensive and the portions were small. That was my only negative. It was a nice experience and would recommend it to anyone if you don’t mind spending a bit more for a nice piece of pizza.
