Great place to buy the kids a treat, drink a pint and watch the Mariners game. The pizza isn’t cheap but it’s good. The kids think it’s too spicy for them. The biggest issue I have is the 4% charge they have on credit card purchases. It’s a violation of their agreement with the card companies. Haven’t called to report them yet but visa welcomes me to do so. There have been times I don’t go back and buy more in a visit as I don’t want to have a $ 5 minimum charge and pay 4%. They’re leaving sales on the table.

UPDATE: After dining at Greene’s Corner on Father’s Day, I had to take away one star from my earlier review. There was literally no one in the place except our party of 7. We ordered two large Ruby’s cheese pizzas and an Al Pacino. The first cheese came out and the crust was black and burnt to Hell. The bottom wasn’t too bad, so we kept it, but it was quite dry from being overcooked. Then the second cheese pizza came out; the entire bottom of the pizza was black. I’m not exaggerating. Generally, I hate to send things back, but this was bad. Very bad. So back it went. It’s amazing to me that someone would clearly overcook, not one, but two pizzas, and send them out looking like that. Especially for what they charge, and also, we were the only table in the place! The Al Pacino was okay, but like others have said, it was super soggy. It’s just a shame, because we really thought we found THEPLACE for east coast-style pizza in town; it looks like we were wrong. Once a restaurant lacks consistency, we have a very hard time going back. :( ORIGINALREVIEW: This was our first time trying the pizza from Greene’s Corner. As pizza connoisseurs, we were pleasantly surprised! Being born and raised in northern New Jersey, we know a good pizza just by looking at it. And we are picky, let me tell you. We’ve tried all the«east coast style» pizza joints in these parts and most of those places should be banned from using that label. But Greene’s does a stellar job! We’re into the classics, so we ordered an 18″ Ruby’s Cheese. It’s a little pricey, but, if you’re from the east coast, it’s hard to find a good pizza around here; so for us, it’s worth the cost. The crust was nearing perfection. Could have been a bit crispier, but overall the thinness is spot on. The amount of cheese to sauce was nicely done. And the amount of crust around the edge was the perfect amount. Our only complaint, which is why we’re giving 4 stars as opposed to 5, was the fact that there was WAYTOOMUCH pepper. We’re assuming it was in the sauce, but our mouths were on fire when we were done eating. We’re hoping this was a one off, and the cook just had a heavy hand with the pepper that day. A pizza should NOT burn your mouth with seasoning. Other than that, a job well-done and we’ll be back!

I had the club sandwich. Delicious. Chill place, looks like they have a good selection of beer and wine. Check it out.

They didn’t accept the gift card I had for the place, which is ridiculous since it was signed by the owner. Didn’t offer any sort of substitution, just rude remarks from the employee/manager. Very disappointing customer service. Would never go to again. On another note, I feel terrible that a car crashed into Greene’s. A dangerous corner to get in and out of, so be careful and on the lookout!

We went to Greene’s yesterday evening with a friend and we ordered a family size Mt. Baker it was a huge pepperoni pizza and we added the smear to it which is a garlic sauce they drizzle over the top! Yum!!! The pizza was a thin crispy pizza I appreciated that when it arrived at our table it was at the perfect eating temperature not too hot not too cold and I enjoyed the crispness of the crust. I loved the addition of the garlic smear«pizza smear» it’s not a fancy place it’s very casual tons of local beers on tap great atmosphere we had wine. The staff is super friendly. I am personally a knife and fork pizza eater but I couldn’t wait to take my first bite so I picked my piece up and it could easily be eaten that way too! The only critique that I would add would be for personal preference they provide paper plates I would prefer a regular plate as it holds up better when cutting and I wished the smear would have been painted on lol I love garlic so I couldn’t get enough of it but those two minor things would never keep me from returning!

Today I tried there Housemade Sour Cream Biscuits and Sausage Gravy. Mediocre is a good description, there was nothing wrong just nothing to go back for. Biscuit was okay for a cakey«cow pie» biscuit.(I prefer rolled biscuits) The only flavor in the gravy was the sweet onion, there was a lot of meat of some kind but it had no taste. PS: Please learn how to «steam baste an egg»!! Google it, it is so easy

Good sandwich and good salad for a fair price. But the convenience is hard to beat. Like it enough that I’ll keep trying new things but wasn’t so amazing that I’ll never change my order :) Since this place went under new management a few years, they have been genuinely striving to draw people in with specials and events that pertain to major holidays or social events. Obviously, their location seems to make them uniquely dependent upon the soccer fields but great job on casting a wider net to draw in more people.

This little shop out in the County is a neighborhood find and hidden gem. A coffee shop and lunch spot combined with some store needs. There is a drive through for coffee too and I’m sure the residents in the area make it a regular AM stop. They’ve got on-tap kombucha, wine and beer too. All the food is made from scratch mostly and they do catering too! I had some amazing scones with my coffees! So cozy and delicious. They use Avenue Bakery bread for their sandwiches and have a gluten free option. They do a pulled pork on a soft roll that is SOGOOD. They’re also known for their Pizzas, which they do NY style on a thin crust. They’ve got their toppings down to a science and use really high quality cheese too. A hidden gem that you’ll love for lunch, dinner, drive thru or take out!

The last thing I had there was the spicy aloha,(or hawaiian can’t remember) and it was absolutely delicious! A nice amount of heat was delivered by the Sriracha. The thin crust worked well but didn’t bring anything if it’s own other than being slightly burnt. There’s a nice atmosphere inside with plenty of seating. On nice days the walls are opened up, allowing plenty of sunlight and fresh air in. The food is a little expensive, but has always been good.

Over priced! If u are going to serve greasy food, give your customers napkins to clean up the mess. I was very disappointed

Our friends raved over the pizza here, so we tried it. We orderd ther Robert de Nero. The crust was very soggy(thin crust), but the toppings were awesome and plentiful. Since we’d taken the pizza home we thought maybe that was the reason it was soggy. We tried again. This time we went in, ordered the same pizza, and it was really awful. The toppings were very light and there was very little cheese. The crust was still soggy. It’s too expensive for me to try a third time.

We loved this place… sadly, there was one problem. Flies. It was disgusting. The beer selection is amazing; the soups were delicious; the flies(and yellow jackets) were plentiful.

Just had the Ruben. It was good, but not worth $ 10. Seems like this place can’t figure out what it wants to be. Pizza place? Coffee house? Bar? Grocery store? Deli?

Boy howdy, I hate to write a review because A– I love this place and B– I don’t want the word to get out so that it becomes packed so much so that it takes away from the charm. What’s not to like? Open air dining area where you can sit and dine on a piece wood fired pizza and sip a great beer alongside your DOG. They have homemade pie — not just pizza pie but real pie! The coffee is stellar. They have a variety of baked goods at times. It’s a really cool place. I especially liked the gourmet magazines available to read while I hang out. There’s also a variety of grocery items: everything from peas and carrots to ice cream, milk and chips. Stop by and see them, just don’t do it too often, I don’t want it to change. :)

I’m surprised to read anything bad about Greene’s pizza, because I LOVE it. I live in Seattle but grew up down the street from here — actually, the former store that was here(Pynor’s) before Greene’s radically transformed it, was my first job when I was 15 — and now when I come to visit my parents, we often order from Greene’s because their pizza is so good! Thin crust, wood fire style pizza. My mom and dad say the sandwiches are great as well. Definitely recommend! For the previous reviewer who said it looked like it was an old auto garage, it was actually a gas station back in the day!
