Hertz Rent A Car

Worst experience ever! Just like a previous reviewer i had rented from the state street location but when i went to return the car we found out it was closed. They couldn’t have told anyone, i had the car for 10 days and not even a email. When we complained no one cared, they just didn’t give a damn. I was told to just email the manager. Worse part was the credit that was returned was one that we were told we weren’t going to be charged for. Avis/​budget doesn’t charge for a spouse driver. Be forewarned if you rent a car from these people, the latest reviews don’t lie.

.Pretty terrible experience. We made a reservation through Hertz online. We arrived at the State St. location to find out they had moved to the airport but not informed anyone with reservations! My partner had to wait 45 minutes for someone to bring a car from the airport. That made us get a later start on our trip than we had wanted to. Imagine if we really needed to be somewhere!
Then, they tried to overcharge us. The reservation was for $ 160 and they tried to charge us $ 220. My partner questioned the worker who only said «Ok. I guess I can do that.» You can uphold a contract? Thank you very much. Not.
On top of all of this, we found out that we needed to drop the car off at the goddamn airport when we got back. The whole reason I chose this location is because it’s in walking distance from our house. We ended up having to pay for a damn cab to get home. $ 22. Oh yeah. And when we dropped the car off, there was no one working and a family was waiting to pick up there car.
WORST car rental experience ever. I would never rent from Hertz again because they apparently don’t care about customers.

The young lady that checked the car out and then checked the car back in two weeks later is very knowledgable friendly and helpful.
I rented an impala which was spacious easy to drive and got decent gas mileage. There were 3 adults, one with a walker.
We were reasonably comfortable on our 4 day road trip from Seattle area to Madison Wisconsin area. Then a 5 day trip back
