Our keys needed to be re-coded something like 3 times. The free wifi didn’t work in our 3rd floor room. The solution suggested was«connect to the wifi downstairs in the lobby, then carry your laptop upstairs. That always works.» I decided to tether my phone instead. The pool looked as though many insects were copulating in it. That said, it was relatively inexpensive on priceline($ 70) and had a microwave, refrigerator, and was clean. It was a busy weekend to stay in Bellingham and everything else was booked. Staff was friendly.

It was an good hotel for a good rate. Not happy that they charged my credit card for my stay hours before I checked out though, I really wanted to pay cash.

The La Quinta Inn. What a nice name for an Inn. So far I’ve been staying at the Bellingham location during the week for the past 2 weeks and i’m not going to lie. I quite enjoy this place. The rooms are what you would expect, nothing extremely fancy but it has enough space, a television, a mini fridge, and a desk with computer chair and another chair in the room. For me the beds are nice, i’m a fan of having a hard mattress and this place does not disappoint. The only thing that i’m not thrilled about with the bed are the pillows that they supply, they are very hard and not comfortable. Another nice thing that this place has is free wifi access.(Which i’m currently using to write this review). The tv’s are also using Comcast digital cable, so you get on-demand and what not for free which is another nice feature to get included. The breakfast that they offer is nice and simple. You can make your self a huge waffle using the waffle maker, or you could enjoy some fruit and yogurt or possibly some cereal or muffins and a bagel. You can get some juice from the juice machine or some coffee if thats your thing. The front desk staff are awesome and super nice. Really awesome to talk to and what not. Also in the lobby they offer two computers for use with printers in case you need to print out something quickly from the internet or just want to surf it for fun. Sure there may be some cheaper places near by, but for the price of this place it’s very nice and great place. If you’re ever passing by an area with one of these I would highly recommend heading on into it for your stay.

This was a great place to stop while traveling around. There were 4 of us in the group and when we called for a room(last minute) all they had was a two-level suite. They gave us an awesome rate for it and it was huge! My favorite thing about this place was LAUNDRY! We had been traveling the past week and it was nice to be able to wash our clothes and re-pack our bags for the last few days in the area.

I checked into La Quinta Inn as place to sleep, before I drove into Canada early morning next day, so my requirements for this stay is very minimal(A place to shower/sleep/use internet) This is a good hotel — the rate was affordable, check-in/check out was very easy. The bed was comfy — and the room was clean. It was an enjoyable experience, and I would give out four stars, if the Hotel Wifi access was working. But there was technical errors with the hotel’s ISP or the network itself. It was unstable and the connection would drop out randomly… So, if you don’t need access to the internet, with a comfy bed and affordable lodging rates — this is a good spot.

My favorite hotel to stay at on road trips. The first reviewer basically had all the info you need. The breakfast are always simple and good. The wifi is pretty fast and the prices are always very good. It is best to reserve online at their website to get weekend deals and such, you can save a bunch of money. We travel with our two little dogs and this is the only hotel chain I know of who allows pets happily w/no security deposits or extra charges, very big plus there.
