Maid For You Inc

This is exactly my second negative Unilocal (or Unilocal of any kind) but I feel so strongly I was totally ripped off I want to warn others away from this business. I bought a Dealsaver coupon for this business that was «half price.» The advertised four hours (for 80 dollars with Dealsaver) was twice too much – I can’t imagine how I’d feel if I paid full price. The two women were to arrive at noon. One did not show up until one o’clock. The first one didn’t have the basics she needed, like a vacuum cleaner! She explained I had bought four «maid hours,» so two women for two hours. The woman who came an hour late was hostile, sullen, & argumentative – she said they would each work «an hour and a half» and that would equal four hours. When I explained it would equal three hours, she stomped upstairs & made personal calls, then called her boss, spitefully talking loudly from the top of the stairs when I was in the living room, to complain that I didn’t «understand» they only owed me an hour and a half each.
The first woman was pleasant, but seemed very slow – maybe she was trying to make up for her work partner.
On top of this, the work overall was shoddy. The two women cleaned two bathrooms and three rooms – not well, the kitchen had no mopping, the counters were grimy, etc. – in that amount of time. Not worth it with a coupon – certainly not at full price. Be warned!

We have been using Maid for You for monthly cleanings of our home for about the past year. We had monthly cleanings at our old home in Chicago and I was worried when we moved that I would not find a crew here in Bellingham I liked as much as our past crew. Thankfully I found Paula & Jamie from Maid for You and am so happy with their work. The icing on the cake is that they are the most reasonably priced service of all that I called for a quote. Great work at a reasonable price, can’t beat that! Thanks, Maid for You!
