Master Lube

These guys are on a whole different level of service and efficiency. To start things off the entire infrastructure of their shop and building streamlines your oil change etc by having you pull up to the garage right away.
I was greeted by a friendly man who asked me what type of oil I generally use and even asked me if my wipers were still working properly. I stepped out of my truck and was met with another employee who was behind my truck who informed me that my tabs were expiring. I had totally spaced on this and really appreciated it!
After sitting and waiting for only like 5 – 8 minutes another employee came in and told me that they had swapped out my oil and even told me what it looked like, and that their was a light film. A nice piece of additional info. He then told me that my coolant was extremely low so they were adding more. He finished by saying that my transmission fluid was looking dirty and that Ford suggests switching that out every 30,000 miles and that there was no indication I had done that. (He was correct). I told him I didn’t have the funds for that right now so instead of doing it without asking he told me that’s fine.
After finishing up my oil change another employee came in to check me out. He went over everything again with me and told me they put 4 quarts of coolant in my radiator but would only charge me for 2. So awesome! I paid a very reasonable price and was then greeted with yet another employee who told me that I should get my cooling system tested because it seemed like my coolant was leaking. He opened my hood and looked it over with me and seemed to honestly be concerned with my truck. Keep in mind this is my first time here ever.
It was just an incredible experience with every staff member naturally and casually providing me with outstanding customer service. Go here!

They do great, inexpensive oil changes. It’s also by far the easiest, friendliest, fastest way to get windshield wiper blades replaced.

I’m a big fan of Master Lube. They are the friendliest and most trust worthy car auto shop I have ever done business with. I drive over from Sedro-​Woolley just to get my oil changed here. That’s how much I love this place.

What a great place!!! I’ll never go to the national competitor again. My car was in and out before I could finish my beer across the street at McKay’s. Adam was professional and very knowledgable. They also have a car wash which I wish I’d known about before I got there, as I had just spent a small fortune across town for a wash job that was worthless. I’m a very happy customer and the oil change didn’t break the bank. I have a V8 Hemi and it cost only $ 46. AMAZING!!!

Why go anywhere else?! These guys are friendly, quick & affordable. They got me in quickly, without an appointment. The waiting area was clean & comfortable. We upgraded to the full service wash & wax (for a mere $ 2 more) & my car absolutely sparkled when they were done! We had just driven it back to B’ham from the SF Bay Area & lets just say that I had never seen my car so filthy — inside or out. It’s still shiny from the wax job over a month later. Not only will I return here every 3,000 miles for oil service but I will never go anywhere else to have my car washed. In & out detailing for under $ 10!!! Are you kidding? Thanks, Guys!

These guys rock. No bullshit. Vacuum the inside of your car. Don’t try to upsell you anything. Just straight up rock and roll and your out the door.

These guys have gotten it right. They’re quick, friendly and inexpensive. The waiting area is clean and they always accommodate my requests. I was there this past Saturday with my VW and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Another outfit wanted almost $ 100 to change my oil (it’s a Volkswagon thing). Master Lube gave my car a full service oil change and new wiper blades for less than $ 90 after tax.

We stopped by without an appointment and had no trouble getting what we needed taken care of. I had tow kit wires loose underneath my car and asked if they could zip tie it up. I offered to supply the ties but they took care of it, no questions asked. I didn’t mind paying a little fee for the extra time but there was none. Fast service and friendly workers. Highly recommended.

Great friendly service for two retired folks who were just passing through. There was no attempt to upsell, they just did what we asked and did it quickly!

Worst car wash ever!!! I paid for the most expensive car wash (my car wasn’t muddy but was dirty) and it came out looking almost the exact same! I asked the tenant if it could be rewashed or my money back and he said no and went and grabbed a dirty rag and wiped my window making the window even worse! I would not recommend this car wash!

I have hated oil change places so much that I decided to change my car’s oil myself for decades, until this place. I will never personally change my car oil ever again.

So I recently gave up on years of getting my oil changed at Jiffy Lube and this place is great! They tell you what is up and they don’t try and sell you on a ton of unnecessary things that your car doesn’t need. They get the job done and I appreciate the awesome customer service! I’ll be back for my next oil change!

I’ve never had to wait and the guys there are very helpful. There is a car wash right next door as well, so I usually have my car washed at the same time. Thank you guys!

Forgot my debit card and despite their no policy on checks, they did it anyway and they did a great job. I will definitely be coming back!

Great old fashioned customer service.
I was really impressed with the service I received. I was just going in for a regular oil change, no bells and whistles but they went above and beyond to make a simple oil change awesome. The place is super simple, you just pull up in the line and the guy comes out and takes your order, like a drive up burger place. Checked all my lights and changed some. Didn’t hassle me about getting more products, something the other guys always do.

I was really hesitant on how to rate this place. I went on my lunch hour to go get my oil changed. I have driven past this place for years and decided to give them a try. When I arrived I parked my car and went inside. I was at the counter for a bit before someone walked by and saw me then told me to pull my car up to the garage entrance. I gave them my name, told them what I was there for and went to sit in the waiting area. As I sat there waiting for my car I listened to one of the mechanics start talking about me when he was told that I had parked on the side of the building and not pulled up to the garage, he then referred to me as retarded. I just sat there unsure whether to just walk back and take my car at that moment or wait until it was done to say something. I always give people the benefit of the doubt but I was really affected by this mans comments.
When my car was done and my bill was rung up I mentioned to the man about putting a sign up so people know to pull around and he let me know there was one on the side where I had parked. I hadn’t even noticed the sign so I let him know that but let him know that conversations in the garage were heard in the waiting area and that I had heard the derogatory remark made about me. Granted he was so apologetic and I truly appreciated that but even know an hour later I am upset about it. I know I will get over it, but I only hope whomever was trashing the customer doesn’t do that to someone else who has a short fuse. Will I go back? I am not sure yet. I really like to give my business to local establishments but I don’t want to go out of my way to be unappreciated or insulted by giving them my business either. I guess time will tell.

I’m on my third car in the past 15 years… and I have taken them all to Master Lube. They care about my care, and most importantly, me as a customer. They’re friendly, professional, I have confidence that they know what they’re doing, and that they’re fair. Good people, good place, good service, good price. Go there!

Incredible customer service!
We bought gas down the street on our way from Seattle to Canada when our car wouldn’t start. We suspected it had something to do with the battery because there had been corrosion and the car cranked slowly for the past few months. We tried to get a jump start but that didn’t work.
We checked Unilocal and the closest auto shop was Master Lube. I didn’t think they would help because they seemed to be primarily an oil changing shop. But my husband called and Rick, who answered, spent several minutes on the phone trying to understand the problem.
We had planned to tow our car there but Rick instead said he would come to us! Super generous of him. In addition, he had to take three trips back to his shop to get supplies and parts.
It turned out our positive cable end on the battery was fully corroded through and so no power was reaching the engine. It took Rick an hour to remove the old cable end because it was so rusted on. Finally he got it off and replaced it.
We followed him back to the shop and he kindly reminded my husband to wash his hands so they wouldn’t get irritated by the corrosion he had touched. Very thoughtful!
Lastly, I did research while waiting and fully expected to pay a specific amount based on what I read online.
Let’s just say that Rick charged us considerably less.
I wish we lived in Bellingham so we could make Master Lube our go-​to auto shop!

Polite, professional, and friendly service. It was a quick in and out to get the oil changed in my subaru. They quoted a cost for wiper blades in case I wanted them changed and when I declined they were just as happy as if I had wanted them replaced. I felt no pressure to buy more than what I had come in for. There is a small waiting room that is comfortable enough. Every one of the staff that I spoke with was friendly and helpful with a cheerful and pleasant attitude. I especially liked the guy checking folks in and out; he has a gift for small talk and customers left with a smile. Truly old fashioned service. I will be going back!

Somehow I always need an oil change around the time my sister asks me to visit her in Bellingham. I’m such a procrastinator! So I get into town and right across from her house we spot Master Lube. I pull up, ask if they can take my car and with a big, confident and friendly smile, a man takes my keys and says, «Right now? Sure! Give us 10 min.»
Without even enough time to find something to keep us busy, we sit in their waiting room decked out with candy machines and magazines. With at least 3 other people waiting I looked up at their «oil change in 10 minutes» sign and almost giggle. C’mon! 10 mins?
Two mins in and a mechanic comes to notify me that my car (being new) requires a specific oil type that’s more expensive. He just wanted to make sure I was aware before they continued. Ok, sure! And no more than 8 mins later my car is ready. In fact, they even did a light vacuum and washed the exterior windows and topped off the wiper fluid. So… If I need another oil change on a future trip to Bham, I know where to go!
