Pillar to Post

We used Pillar to Post for a home inspection at the suggestion of our realtor. I’m currently undertaking a large (read expensive) demolition project of a raised concrete patio that was improperly poured (not flashed) against the house. Pillar to Post did not catch this large oversight in the patio construction when the house was inspected. I’m very disappointed this was not caught as it was easily recognizeable if one looked closely at the patio/​house junction. As a result of this I’m now spending a lot of money and time to rip out the patio and fix the exterior of my house when this should have been something that was negotiated prior to the house purchase. I cannot recommend Pillar to Post as a home inspection service.

Kurt was our inspector and he did a great job! he spent a lot of time making sure to thoroughly inspect every area of the home and explain all of the issues he found as well as what he believed to be the severity level of each finding. Pricing was very good in my opinion for such good work and for such a thorough job. The report we received (quickly) after the inspection was great and he seemed to have documented every thing he found in great detail.
