PJ’s Bar & Grill

My family used to really like this place– good food and good selection and nice staff. Recently the service has really declined. On two visits a couple months ago, we ordered appetizers, once they came to the table with the entrees, and another visit she was going to bring them out after the entrees (we told her to skip it). On our most recent visit, the server forgot to put one of our orders in (there were only 3 of us!) and that food was brought out after the rest of us were done eating. There was no explanation or apology other than «I forgot». Usually in a case like that I would expect a visit from a manager or credit to the bill, but neither happened. I was hoping each time it was just an off night but 3 times a row makes me think it’s not getting better.

Highly recommend PJ’s. Great burgers and buffalo chicken salad. They also have great sangria. Love this place! The only caveat would be the atmosphere. Not the coziest of places. It’s a little industrial inside for a sports bar.

I have been going to PJ’s for a long time. the staff is great and the food is just as good. We had our daughters birthday party and Paul and Julie catered the party delivering the food in the food truck… it was the hit of the party. Highly recommend giving them a shot.

Horrible service. Waitress never checked on table. I had to get up to look for her. Food was not great. Never supplied steak knife for the fatty steak tips. Drinks not refilled until I went to bar to get them my self. Would never go back!

by far one of my favorite places to eat. Always good food and tons of fun between trivia nights and sports games!

This is a fun place to go if you’re just looking to grab a beer. Their food is decent but I’ve had better bar food in the area. The atmosphere is nice and the waiters are extremely attentive. They do have like trivia night and things like that when I’ve been which is always fun. I’d give it more stars but the food is just ok and their beer selection is definitely lacking or they never have the one I want because their keg is taped.

So incredibly rude. I used to go to PJ’s all the time. We were playing «Trap Queen» on the juke box, which I paid for, and the owner from the kitchen turns it off. Then he proceeds to turn off 3 other songs we choose (all clean versions). Then he says something to me about going outside (to fight?). I was reimbursed after asking the manager but there was such a better way to handle the situation. I will never be back.

Burgers are amazing, excellent salads, and yummy tater tots! I tend to order off the special menu and am always happy with my order. My whole family loves this place, but it’s great for date night too. Good tap and bottled beer selection, excellent staff, fun atmosphere and some of the best appetizers in the area. We particularly like the fried pickle chips.

Horrible place! Townie bar full of drunks. If they dont know you as a regular, you will be overlooked for service and treated disrespectfully. I gave this place many chances with no improvement. Dont waste your time or money.

I don’t know where Tot Chos (tater tot nachos) have been my entire life, but I’m glad I found them here. Absolutely delicious and precisely what you think it is — in all the best ways. Beer was cold, food was hot and came out quick.
I had the firecracker burger which had the right amount of spice and was cooked medium, just as requested. My dining partner had a HUGE glass of sangria which was, «good, but probably bottled» and a steak salad which was equally as large.
Taking off 1 star because of the building itself. It was incredibly cold — nearly everyone had a coat on. And because of the lack of floor to ceiling walls, smoke escaped from the kitchen and wandered into the dining area. Food and service were well above-​average.

Great food. Been here many times and never once disappointed. I recommend the club sandwich.

Great local place to grab a drink. The red & white sangrias are always great. Obsessed with the chipotle shrimp wrap & the choices of sides especially the sweet potato tots. Service is good — sometimes the place gets really busy but you can tell the servers work as a team. Never had a problem getting a refill. Definitely recommend!

SADDENED AND DISAPPOINTED BY OWNERS ACTIONS WHEN DEALING WITH ISSUES!
I had frequented this restaurant quite often. We have always been very pleased with the food and service in the past… until recently. Weeks back, myself and 4 people I’ve run into, on separate occasions, got extremely ill from fried chicken. Since then I will no longer have chicken from here, I’ve been scared. But it didn’t stop us from having drinks with friends. Then last night our food came out before our beers. Which is no huge deal, and someone made the blanket statement «wow our food came out before our beers?!» was made in a surprising and non condescending manner to the weight staff. The owner had the audacity to take one of us outside and berated her for the comment. And then when the owner came by the table and was asked why she did that, her comment was «because I own the place and can». Unfortunately I’m completely appalled and will never go back.
A bad word goes a lot further than a good word. And I hope this is taken constructively, and to be kinder to their patrons.

When i 1^st tried PJ’s it was when they had just opened. I got a chicken wrap & tatter totts & wasnt too impressed. I didnt go back until about 6 months ago & now it is one of my favorite places in town. I get the turkey club with regular french fries & we get fried pickles to start with. (Super yummy with marinara sauce) The club is amazing & is so big that my boyfriend & i just share it. The soda is always flat though so i just get water. Great atmosphere & great food.

I’ve been here twice, and I’m not giving it any more chances despite being extremely convenient to our house.
The first time the service was pretty bad, and the food mediocre at best.
The second time, we were seated, waited 15 minutes, and never saw a server, so we just left.
This place is also INFESTED with flies, it’s disgusting. If there’s that many flies in the dining room, I can only imagine how many flies are in the kitchen where all the food is kept.

The Pilgrim wrap was delicious! Reasonable prices (wrap was $ 9.50-ish) and wicked good food. Will definitely go back again if we’re in the area!

I’ve only been there twice, both times I got a burger. It’s a very good pub burger and the fresh made potato chips are awesome. It’s been a while since I’ve been there so I’m short on details.

Came on a Saturday night got seated instantly didn’t have to wait 40 minutes at all love the food the service the cheap beer seriously

Awesome… get the granddaddy… ½lb burger covered with fried pickles sandwiched between 2 grill cheese sandwiches.
Also get a side of the homemade BBQ sauce on the side for real treat with your fries

It’s a Nice little bar slash pub that can get pretty busy and loud at times. The food is good for pub food and menu has a decent amount to choose from.
The staff is Nice and friendly and will joke with you as Well.
Prices are reasonable for the quality of food u get. Parking can be a little tough when they are busy. They do have a small patio which is OK.
Age range can fluctuate from collage age since Dean is just down the road. To early thirties to mid 50.
Over a good decent place to go for drinks or food. Just wish they had a little more bear choices but Oh Well.
