Time Concepts

I took two watches to Time Concepts to have metal links removed based on the Unilocal reviews. I was completely delighted by the owner and the assistance he provided. It turned out that one of the watches had a faulty mechanism (made in China) and it wasn’t worth it to me to fix so we didn’t bother removing the links on that one. The other he adjusted perfectly to my wrist and at a very reasonable cost. I will definitely be back!

On April 13, 2016 — I first took my G-​shock Casio to have its battery replaced at another store. I was told by a young man at that first store that it wasn’t the battery. He recommended that I take the watch to be fixed at Time Concepts, which I did. Walking into Time Concepts, I didn’t know what to expect, but I was immediately pleased that Nelu, the owner, instantly took the time to look at the watch. Within a few minutes, he had made some minor adjustments and replaced the battery. I was quite impressed. I highly recommend Nelu. He does excellent work. I would give him 10 stars if I could. Time Concepts is a rare find. It’s a wonderful store. You won’t be disappointed.

The owner of Time Concept is a true professional. I had 4 watch batteries replaced, very reasonably priced, he dates each battery, offers a 1 year guarantee. We discussed an old grandmother’s clock I have that needs repair, it will be seeing him soon, after 15 years of silence, I look forward to hearing it chime again.

I went to Time Concepts after reading everyone else’s great reviews and I was not disappointed. The owners are extremely knowledgable and personable. In 20 minutes they were able to repair and polish a watch that has been hiding in a drawer for years. And their prices are very reasonable. A great resource for Bellingham residents. Couldn’t be happier!

A WONDERFUL FIND!
I discovered Time Concepts when a watch repair person HIGHLY recommended him. We have a very old grandfather clock that had not worked in sixteen years. Upon moving to Bellingham, late last year, we decided that we had to have it fixed.
Nelu Gheorghita (owner) came to our home to determine the problem. He took the working parts back to his shop. He brought it back tonight and it is better than ever. The clock sounds beautiful and the brass weights and pendulum simply gleam. All that and he had it back to us for Thanksgiving!
It is like having an old friend back. Nelu is such a nice person to boot!
I also had four good watches fixed by Nelu. He is so speedy and did a great job. He polished and cleaned them and I now can tell the time without pestering friends and family.

If you have any kind of watch or clock that needs repair, this is THE place to take it. I had just googled «wach repair» Bellingham and Time Concepts came up so I headed on over. Nelu has a workshop attached to the side of his house, so don’t be thrown off if you’re looking for the place and end up in a Residential neighborhood. Just head up the driveway and you’ll see an entrance with an «open» sign. He is very nice, and boy does he know what he is doing! He builds and repairs vintage clocks and Grandfather clocks. He does watch repair, American, Swiss, German… you name it. I just needed a few links removed from my watchband and in less than 5 minutes I was out he door with a perfect fitting watch. There is no reason to go anywhere else.

I took my watch to Hans Watch Repair at Fred Meyer (he was a lovely guy too, maybe it’s something about being in watch repair!) and he was unable to help me with my broken strap and sent me to Nelu Ghorghita at Time Concepts and within 12 hours and for $ 25 it is all fixed and you would genuinely never know anything had happened. So I THOROUGHLY recommend this very kindly and skilled Romanian gent if you need any watches fixed or want to buy a hand built grandfather clock.
