The other former employee who wrote a review speaks the truth. When I worked here, I got screamed at by the owners on a daily basis. One time I dropped the top of a burger bun on the floor, so I instinctually threw it in the garage. Got yelled at by the male owner for wasting food. I was almost done working there, so I sternly told him I wasn’t going to use something that fell on the floor. He yelled at me more. Oh and the burger meat sits out of the fridge all day, even in hot summer weather. Eat at your own risk!

I went for a burger At Wins today and was very disappointed. It cost me almost $ 2.50 for a plain hamburger, what was included in this cost was as follows: 1. One Small plain hamburger bun 2. One Small plain hamburger patty 3. Two Small Thin onion slices 4. One Small(quarter size) drop of tartar The so called«hamburger» was not worth $ 2.50, a better & fairer price would have been $ 1.50. Honestly I’ve had bigger & better burgers at Dairy Queen for a $ 1.29. I did however enjoy the service and the old home style setting, I did enjoy the they were very well made good sized, just not enough of them.

This is an old-school, no frills burger joint like the kind you might find on the outskirts of a small, 1-stoplight kind of town. They have plain-jane diner chairs and tables inside. You can order your food from the walk-up window outside or the walk-up window inside. Burgers and shakes seem to be the main attraction, but there are a few other items on the menu. The young woman who took my order was very friendly and helpful. She explained what comes on each of the burgers. I went with the Super Deluxe which is the most popular item. It comes with fries, but I asked for a combo of fried zucchini sticks and mushrooms instead. The young woman delivered my meal to my table 5 minutes later. The bright yellow, crispy bun was different. There is a sign stating that they have gluten-free buns. I wondered if all of the buns served were gluten-free which may have been the reason for the bright yellow color. Overall it was a solid meal at a reasonable price.

Old school drive-in with friendly service and your basic tasty drive-in style food. Plenty of parking, quite a bit of seating(albeit circa 1968) and good for groups if you call ahead.

Win’s has everything that the soulless chains lack. If you’re tired of them give it a try. The burgers, fries and shakes are all top notch. And the shakes come in a plethora of flavors. I’m not sure how long they have been here, but I have been coming for 30 years and it’s always the great.

My uncle had been going here several days in a row because he loves the burgers and shakes here. It’s an old drive-in diner and looks like it was built sometime in the 80’s — and still looks like that. It’s like a scene out of «The Brady Bunch.» I’m not sure if their intention was to keep the 80’s diner theme or if cash flow doesn’t allow for renovations, but let’s just cut to the burger. I ordered the Yummy Burger($ 6.99), which comes with a double patty, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and their special sauce, as well as a side of fries. you can upgrade to sweet potato fries for $ 1 more I thought the burger was really good, but for $ 6.99 I expected something a little more phenomenal. It was slightly bigger than an In-N-Out Double Double but double the price. For another $ 3 I could get a bigger and juicier burger at Red Robin but with unlimited fries, which I think I’d rather do for the value of the dollar. The sweet potato fries were nice and crispy, the way I like it. Not too shabby, but not spectacular either. From the looks of it you couldn’t tell, but they do accept MC, Visa, and Amex.

Go for the double cheeseburger if you are concerned about portion sizes. Deluxe Burger was tasty with special sauce smothered all over. I’ll be asking for the sauce as a french fry dip as well next visit. French fries are crisp on the outside, soft and hot in the middle … Just right

The staff are friendly and the food tasty. They even make a disc of bacon to fit perfectly on your bacon burger! The shakes are great as well. This is one of those guilty pleasures I visit when I just want to grab some food and go see the sunset with friends.

If you are in the area you need to eat here. Great food, good prices and super friendly staff. They have an outside window so if you have your dog is with you its not an issue. This place had been here forever so the décor is outdated however it is always clean. Staff are knowledgeable and very good at multi tasking.

Win’s is the quintessential local joint. When you walk in you can feel the 70’s calling your name… from the wood-paneled walls to the vinyl booths to the disco music playing overhead. Yes, things are pretty much the same here as they were 40 years ago… and that includes the yummy, well-priced burgers, the crunchy fries, and the delicious shakes. In a downtown Fairhaven neighborhood that is dying to drain your pockets at every turn, Win’s reigns as the stalwart, unwilling to change for the sake of the locale. And you know what? That’s just fine with me.

For a quick lunch not bad at all. The philly cheese steak was done well. It was gast the waitress was pleasant to interact with. We asked a ton of questions and she had all the answers. You can even cash in your lottery ticket while you wait for your food.

I used to come here all the time as a kid, and I still go when I’m in town now. Unfortunately, while it was really something back in the late 80s and early 90s, nothing has changed and the new owners haven’t made any effort to keep up with Fairhaven’s blossoming. It’s time to clean up the inside a little bit, replace the tables and chairs, remove the old wood paneling, change the light bulbs in the back dining room, and totally gut the gross bathrooms. The girls at the front counter are friendly and perky, and the food is okay, but not great. Given the atmosphere in the rest of Fairhaven, I would expect Win’s to offer a slightly more upscale menu, with healthier options and fresher ingredients. Dear Win’s owners, please update this classic drive-in before it’s too late. I really should give it two stars, but I can’t bring myself to do that with its history… plus the milkshakes are really awesome.

As a long-time Bellinghamster, I’ve been to Wins a lot. Their chocolate peanut butter milkshakes are(usually) amazing. A few weeks ago I went in and ordered a large one to share with a friend. I was surprised when the total came to nearly $ 6! Worth it though for the great shake, right? Yes, except the milkshake was peanut butter only. I double-checked with the cashier and she assured me it was a mix of both, but my friend and I could only taste peanut butter. Disappointing. A few days later, I had to make a 1-minute drop-off stop at a shop across from Win’s. Noting the«Parking for Wins Customers Only» signs all over the wall, I parked in front. Literally the second I closed my car door and began walking across the street, a deafening woman’s voice started shrieking at me(and everyone else in Fairhaven) that I was in a Win’s-only parking spot and would be towed. To make things even more bizarre, there were all of TWO cars parked in their enormous parking lot at the time. The peanut butter-only milkshake could be overlooked, but after being assailed by a Natzi-like cashier who has nothing better to do than holler at(former) Win’s customers all day, I will not be returning.

The food is decent and it’s moderately priced, but boy, do they treat their employees like dirt. I decided I needed to quit after I was yelled at one day for trying to call in sick. The owner screamed at me over the phone and hung up on me mid-sentence! Then when I came in to work anyway, I was accused of lying. I have never been treated so horribly by a manager, and I have certainly never been accused of lying about an illness, especially while working at a restaurant! I tried to explain that I didn’t want to get my coworkers sick or risk contaminating the food and they wouldn’t hear any of it. The owners are horrible people. If you ever feel inclined to go to Win’s, tip your server well, because she’s probably been getting yelled at all day.

I remember the burgers not only tasting better, but having more meat! I ordered the Deluxe Cheeseburger, and, although the special sauce(relish, mayo, garlic powder, salt pepper, mustard(my prediction)) made the burger taste splendid, the lack of substance left me wanting another just to fill up. I like Win’s, but I am not sure I’ll be going back. It’s an average burger joint.

Needed a burger and dog for a stop while on a road trip north. Had the bacon burger and a plain hot dog. Good burger, hot dog and fries are very good. Drive past the other fast food and go here.

Went to Win’s last weekend and I have to say this a pretty good drive-in burger joint. If you are near Fairhaven you should check them out. They have a burger for every appetite. They also have fish and chips and killer milkshakes.

Great burgers, lousy breakfast. Win’s burgers come with a great special sauce that’s famous around Bellingham. Juicy, yummy, and they automatically come with fries. Prices are reasonable, and service is usually pretty fast(5 – 10 mins most of the time). Their breakfast needs a lot of work though. They use hamburger buns for the breakfast sandwiches. Not English Muffins or biscuits, Hamburger buns. No thanks. I won’t do breakfast there again. Good for lunch, not for breakfast.

Gotta be honest, I’ve been there on 3 occasion now — and won’t go back. Food is so-so, very small portions, and services takes FOREVER. Most recently ordered chicken strips, a burger and fries and a milkshake. It was $ 19! And took nearly 15 minutes to receive. Burger could have been a «slider» it was so small. Tough to write a bad review, because I’ve really wanted to like this place… but I just can’t. Three strikes, they’re out in my book:(
