Advanced Hardwood Flooring

We bought a 1940’s built house and Joe and his team at Advanced Hardwood Flooring turned the beat up 75 year old wood floors (which we were thinking might need to be replaced) into looking like shiny smooth almost new beautiful floors. People compliment us all the time on the floors now. We were amazed at how well they were restored. The crew was professional, always on time, keep our house clean and finished on time with results better than expected. Bravo! Thanks, Joe!

My experience:
I’m a new home owner and I unfortunately started off with another contractor to refinish my hardwood floors. After a week it wasn’t getting anywhere, they were showing up late and leaving early and they started asking for more money. I decided to fire them and learning my lesson I wanted to hire someone with more of a reputation and so I went on Angie list looked for someone with good reviews and Advanced hardwood flooring had the best reviews in my area. I spoke with Joe who took over the family business, he understood my situation and didn’t over promise me anything and took caution in promising me anything. This is when I understood that I am working with an established and well experienced company that understands what their clients want. Even though we was booked for a week I decided to go with him.
Needless to say, I am very happy with his services. in 1 day…1…he finished sanding and staining my floors and the following days finished with the poly, the other contractors were working on sanding for a week! I thought maybe he rushed the job so I inspected every room and closet but everything was done nicely! It just shows when you hire a specialized, experienced, and well geared company. I do apologize to Joe that while inspecting his work I left footprints on the stains that he had to clear up!
I definitely recommend Advanced Hardwood Flooring!

We just purchased a house that was built in 1908. When we removed the old carpeting we found well-​worn, 107 years-​old pine floors (upstairs) and oak floors (downstairs). The floors were in rough shape, so we weren’t sure how things would come out.
By the time the crew at Advanced were done, the floors looked beautiful. They still have their historic character, but shine like new.
These guys also stand by their work. One area of our floors really soaked-​up the polyurethane, leaving it duller than the rest of the floor, likely due to the wood being especially dry in that area. [Note that they warned me about this possibility even before starting the work.] I asked about paying for an extra coat of polyurethane in that room. Joe sent his guys back to do another coat of polyurethane at no charge. He wanted me to be happy with the work.
Bottom-​line: Joe (the owner) and his crew did a great job at a reasonable price. More importantly, they stood by their work and did their best to make sure I would be happy with the final product. I would definitely use them again.

Floors came out great, very competitive pricing. Joe and his team do great work for the price. Would recommend again!
