Was having a glorious lovely day here before work. Unfortunately some disgusting shitty crotch goblin either shit or puked in the adult pool and they cleared everyone out of the water. Not pleased. No refunds. Nothing. Parents keep your gross kids to the baby pool please. I spend my hard earned money to enjoy a nice day here and your little morons have to ruin everything. So gross. I love this pool just wish they had no one under the age of 16 here. Kids ruin EVERYTHING.

Awful. The place is falling apart lol. It’s a creepy place and smells awful The bathrooms don’t work and haven’t been renovated in decades. Looks like the place hasn’t been touched since the 80’s

Minimalist by it’s nature as a public park, it’s definitely not the most modern of facilities, but as a recreational skating rink the Newbridge arena suffices. It’s never overly crowded, the marshals do a fine job of keeping the teens in check and most importantly, it’s an inexpensive way to take the family out for some fun. With a $ 6 entry and $ 4 rentals, you can’t go wrong. The concessions are reasonably priced, though I’ve never gotten anything more than a pretzel and soda. The on-site«pro shop» charges $ 10 to sharpen skates and carries enough stock to keep your skates in working order. I find society has gotten so obsessed with having the«latest and greatest» that we have all forgotten how to appreciate the simplicity of just getting on the ice and enjoying the experience of skating.

Nice rink surrounded by a nice field. The interior has seen better days. The lobby area is a little rundown, but kept pretty clean. Cozzi Pro shop is stocked pretty well, but everything is just way overpriced. Vending machines are pretty much the only thing you rely on for food, in the years I’ve come here, I can count on one hand the number of times it’s actually been open. And the service was slow. When coming here to watch hockey games, if you want to see anything you’re probably going to stand along the boards near the entrance into the rink. The stands are at one end of the ice which doesn’t give you a good vantage point to view a game. This place is among one of the colder rink, so pack a sweatshirt.

What do you want? Really. It’s not super crowded like city rinks and yea everyone is under 14 years old but they make good cushions when its time to fall. 9 bucks for entry and rentals, 5 bucks if you have skates. 75 cents fo yo locka. Again it is teeming with little people so be prepared to appear like the only«adult» ice skating. I’ll be back to spray past these puppies. just don’t wait til the last 30 minutes to go as all the ice shavings built up over the night stop you from gliding smoothly.

Honestly could use a bit of a renovation but it’s serviceable. Rink guards do a pretty good job of keeping in check 11 – 15 year old boys trying to impress their female adolescent counterparts through a) reckless speed or b) general shenanigans. I was once one of these kids, so I understand and appreciate how difficult this can be. Go here instead of Grant Park. Prices for Town of Hempstead residents are $ 7.50, and you can get a discount if you prove you live in the town. At Grant Park, adults WITH a Leisure Pass cost $ 7, and those without costs a ridiculous $ 14. Skate rental at Newbridge is less expensive too, and you don’t have to deal with outdoor elements.
