My favorite restaurant. The staff is fantastic and the wine list is plentiful and well priced. Cheese fondue? Oh lord yes. Duck breast? Mm superb! Everything I’ve tried has been delightful. My dad is a steak and potatoes guy who hates everything. The steak is outrageous and both my picky parents love it here. Recently the waitress picked up the cue that it was my friends birthday and put a candle in her chocolate cake. This place is to die for. I look forward to venturing to their other locations, but it’s hard because this one is so close to my home. I love how the waitstaff remembers me and the care of the food preparation. Why no pictures? My dear Unilocalers, I have no self control here and I immediately go into a trance like state when served. I always get dessert. I’m literally almost sick every time I leave here, I’m such a glutton. The espresso makes room right? The service, the food, and the ambiance are simply superb. Overall divine and never a disappointment(I have been here over a dozen times at least) Valet parking is available Saturday and Sunday if you’re into it. Signs clearly state not to park at the larger lot. Do it and pick me up on the way!

One day I walked in and decided to try a bite at the bar. I have to say I’ve been pretty hooked since. I go quite often, and always just grab a seat at the bar. The manager and bartender are great people, they always make me feel comfortable and they even remember what I ate and drank on prior visits… which is impressive. I love trying small plates from their different menus. These are some of my favorites: duck lollipops, grilled octopus, raw oysters, lamb chops, lobster tacos and the steak skewers.

I went with my fiancé hoping to love it but we only just thought it was OK. Our waiter was very nice but when asked about a certain appetizer he said he wasn’t sure since he had recently started there. Understandable but you should still know the menu. We each had a martini and they were fair. The shrimp and corn chowder was decent but a little too watery and needed more seasoning. The fettuccine with lobster again was decent but the lobster was a little tough, however I did like the cream sauce once I added more salt. The crème brulé was lacking, the texture and flavor were both off a bit. I would give 2.5 stars, the staff seemed friendly but that doesn’t make up for the feeling of wishing we got more for $ 120.

Great neighborhood restaurant. Excellent food, try the sole it is amazing! The Caesar salad is really good as well. They don’t overload it with dressing and it comes in a Parmesan bowl. I am always seated on time with my reservation.

Really impressed with the quality of food and wine list. I predominantly avoid French cuisine, but have found myself visiting here twice in a month. Kudos to the chef.

Went here recently for our anniversary dinner. The food was outstanding. We love the escargot! Only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is because we waited an hour for our table and we had a reservation! Once seated, the food took a long time to come out. I really did enjoy the meal — so would be willing to try again and hope the wait time was a fluke.

This was a cozy French restaurant with good food at a relatively expensive price and an imaginative set of dishes. If you are willing to spend the money this is a great date restaurant and a great restaurant for special occasions.

The food and service is excellent! I had the Fillet Mignon Tacos for an appetizer and the Braised Short Rib for dinner! Both were great!

In my check in I gave the review. LOVELOVELOVE this hidden gem. Highly recommended for adults only for an upscale night out without the stuffiness!

This is mine and my lady’s New fav restaurant. Everything is on point. I have to get the mussels appetizer every time. Best rack of lamb out there. Steak is phenomenal… and their spinach Sooo good. Grilled veggies are scrumptious. Great place for date night. Service is on point to.

We have driven by this place many times but never went there. Glad we finally tried it. I saw an entrée online(paella) that didn’t appear on their actual menu. When the server asked the chef he prepared it for me and it was delicious. My wife was very pleased wirh the beef bourguignon.

We visited for restaurant week and had a phenomenal time. I made a reservation earlier in the week but it wasn’t very busy when we arrived. The host seemed a little frazzled but got us to our seats quickly. We took a peek at the regular menu but we quickly decided the restaurant week menu was the way to go. I started with the salad and my husband had the escargot. He loved this and I loved mine. The salad had perfectly browned pecans and a sharp champagne vinaigrette. For entrees my husband had the fish with potato and cauliflower purée which was excellent. The fish was flaky and cooked perfectly and the cauliflower added a great flavor to the purée. I had the blue cheese and pear stuffed pork chop. It was cooked perfectly and there was a nice amount of stuffing, not just a little bit in the middle. The roasted potatoes were delicious and the brussels sprouts were huge. I was very pleased. For dessert my husband had the mango sorbet that was light and refreshing. I had the pumpkin bread pudding with cinnamon ice cream and I devoured everything on my plate. Service was decent and food was good. I’d visit again!

Went for dinner but decided to do Happy Hour at the bar instead and glad we did… half price martinis, wine and wonderful choices of appys. Service was wonderful and the tab was well below what dinner would have been(usually near $ 100 for dinner and drinks) 5-? not sure what nigjts but call and confkrm

I really enjoyed the beef wellington here. It’s one of those things you don’t see often. It was my first choice when coming here. It met every expectation I had. The way it was cooked and seasoned. Very happy with it. Décor is nice. The place is pleasantly small. I don’t like restaurants that are too big you get lost. Everything was fresh. The drinks were done right. A very good place to have a night out. They don’t rush you out. I love that.

Came in here with my buddy. Our service was very slow. We had to flag the waiter down constantly. We ordered Escargot, that was just okay unfortunately. I am going to go back and update my review upon my return and hopefully, I will be able to add a star or two. But for now, slow service, and just okay food. :(

Again, I really wish Unilocal would get with the program and allow half stars. This place isn’t quite a 4 star, but is better than a 3 star. Hubby and I went here for our anniversary dinner. Live in the neighborhood and have wanted to try for a long time. Wasn’t disappointed but was not wow’ed either. Start simple with the service. The waitress was really not knowledgeable at all, which is a turn off, especially when you are torn between a couple of dishes. First my husband asked between 2 apps and she said… depends what you want. Then I asked between to main’s and her response was reading the menu after I had to point to the items. I told her forget it, and picked myself, and she explained she was checking to see if there where clams in either dish. Um, okay. I am guessing the kitchen was out of clams, but my 2 choices were beef bourguignon or coq au vin. I would think in a French restaurant, the server would know off the bat, there is no clams in either dish. Okay, so we ordered a round of martinis which the waitress spilled a good portion of my husband’s while putting mine on the table. Gave a quick ooopps and she was on her way. The Night in Paris was okay. Moved on to wine for my entrée. The bread at the beginning was just okay. Could have done without it. We started with the duck tacos, which were absolutely delicious. However, they were 3 very small tacos. Would have appreciated 4 instead of 3 since they were very small and there were 2 of us sharing. On to the entrees. My husband ordered the lamb shank because he wanted something substantial after seeing the small fish entrée portions that were leaving the kitchen. I ordered the beef bourguignon, which was FANTASTIC! It came with a side of mashed potatoes and the stew was so flavorful. I could have licked the bowl. That dish alone made this entire dinner worth while. My husband’s shank and risotto while a nice portion, but was definitely lacking a little flavor. It needed a hit of salt and even after that, it was still on the bland side. Not bad, just not great. For dessert we had the apple tart with hazelnut ice cream. This was by far the worst dish of the night. The hazelnut ice cream only had a faint flavor of hazelnut and the tart was a little burnt on the bottom and lacked a lot of flavor. Overall, there were some real highlight to this meal, and I will give this place another shot. The décor is beautiful btw!

Dine or Ditch? Ditch… like the one they found my steak in. I’m kidding, a little. Honestly, the food was alright, but when I pay nearly $ 50 for an app and meal with no drinks or extras per person I expect better. We got their daily special salad with shrimp. The salad itself was good, but the shrimp was flavorless beyond being grilled. We also tried their lobster tacos which were decent, but nothing special. As entrees we ordered the hanger steak and salmon. The salmon was pretty good, but the sauce seemed to have a skin over it, like it was under a heat lamp or something for a bit. The vegetables were tasty and cooked well. The steak was very, very, very chewy. The gravy did have some good flavor, but didn’t make up for the steak being so underwhelming. The potato thing that came with it was very unappealing in my opinion. I was definitely hoping for something more. The best part of the dinner may have been the green herb butter thing that came with the bread when we sat down… I’m not sure if that’s a joke or not. The staff was very nice and welcoming. I can’t knock them there and I do genuinely appreciate that when I go out to eat. I think it’s rare to find a good staff from top to bottom, I just wish they were at a restaurant I like more.
