Scott is one of the most responsive and responsible contractor you can find. I hired him for a big ivy removal job in my old house. He also did landscape on my garden. He and his crew shows up on time everyday as promised. He delivers exactly what he says. His price is very competitive. I made the mistake of using another landscaper for a portion of my new house under the impression that new landscaper might have leverage with my village for permit and approval. Big mistake! Comparing the works between two landscapers, Scott’s work ethics and professionalism is just way above a knotch. I’m currently hiring scott back for rest of my new property. If you want to save on money and headaches and have a beautiful garden, he’s hands down the best.

Scott Anderson Design has been doing landscape design for more than 15 years now. Scott is very experienced in all aspects of landscaping including construction. He listened to my idea of how I wanted my front yard to look and provided a great design. I would definitely recommend Scott Anderson Design to any home owner and property/​facilities manager. He’s proved no job is too big or small!

Like most residents on Long Island, after Sandy hit I had a huge tree that had fallen down in my backyard. I contacted about 6 different tree service/​landscaping companies, none of which were getting back to me or telling me it would take weeks for them to get there. In the end, it was Scott who took complete care of me and my family.
He came on a weekday evening to look at the tree that had fallen and assessed the situation. He came back the next morning to cut it down and remove it from the house, all doing so without any problems or damaging any part of my house or property. His communication skills were efficient and professional, and his price was the most reasonable. I would absolutely use Scott’s services again and would recommend him to anyone in need of the same in a heartbeat.

I had Scott and team do a bunch of landscaping around my house in Lido Beach this summer. It was a pretty big job: removal of a bunch of trees/​shrubs/​weeds/​poison ivy/​etc. Then planting 20 or so native plants around the yard. It looks really great, and Scott’s team came in and did the job on schedule, and the entire thing only took a day and half. I asked a few follow-​up questions since then, and I always received prompt and helpful replies. I’d definitely use him again.

I contacted Scott Anderson Design right after hurricane Sandy left a large tree on top of our house. Due to the angle and size of the tree, it was critical that it be carefully removed to avoid creating any additional damage to the house. Scott and his crew were quick to respond even despite road closures, localized flooding, power outages, etc. Within a few hours, they managed to safely remove the tree and clear away all debris. The yard looked better than before the storm!
