First time trying The Big Cheese, the cheeseburger grill cheese was great. The guys working were also really nice.

omgeeeeeee !!!. what can ii say about this place ?!. how about hands down the best gourmet grilled cheese ii have ever had, the owners (krissy) is so nice & warm hearted, she’s very passionate about what she is doing, while waiting for my food (philly cheese steak grilled cheese, grilled cheese with bacon & fries must try !!) she made conversation & ii felt welcomed, im not from this neighborhood & recently got placed here for work. & ii tell uu this will be my weekly indulgence. very good & the bread she uses puts the sandwich over the top.

My husband and I were driving past Arnold Chevrolet in Babylon last weekend and saw this food truck parked for an event. We are food lovers, so naturally we pulled over and got our grilled cheese on. I don’t even know where to begin! The people working in the food truck were delightful, seriously some of the nicest folks you’ve ever met. They were chatting happily with the customers even when they were busy. I was impressed. The food was UNBELIEVABLE. Who doesn’t like cheese? If you don’t, we can’t be friends anyhow so this review wouldn’t matter. My husband order the small «Where’s the beef» and I «The Big Cheese». The bread was to die for! It was amazingly delicious. Every bite we took, had us saying «OH MY GOD THIS IS DELICIOUS»…if you can catch them in the neighborhood please pull over and try them out. They also have a Facebook page and can be booked for private events. I wish we knew sooner, we would’ve booked them at the end of our wedding reception!

A catering truck, not a restaurant, delicious, fresh, creative, but they closed up shop, didn’t they? (Owner was a contestant on Hell’s Kitchen and a superior chef.) Land owner was the nursery across the street, I believe, saw they were doing so well, so he doubled the «rent.» No explanation for such blatant US capitalistic greed. Well, it was good while it lasted.

Just came to The Big Cheese for lunch with three hungry men. Melissa, the owner and chef, is awesome, but the food is even better. Check it out ASAP. Enjoy!

I passed this food truck many times, and finally tried it. Not only was Chrissa a pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable person, the sandwich was awesome! I tried the grilled cheese with Nathan’s hot dogs and pickled jalapenos, my wife had the grilled cheese with chicken, bacon and ranch dressing, and we shared the Krispy Kreme smores doughnut. The chicken was cut fresh right in front of us, and she prepared our meal while engaging in conversation. Chrissa works really hard, putting in long hours. She’s a local girl that loves the community, and her love translates to the food. Try this place!

So excited that there’s a great food truck in Bellmore!
I had their classic «big cheese» with their blend of cheeses and bacon. I love that they use round crunchy bread which reminds me of my favorite bread served at Turkish restaurants. They didn’t skimp on the bacon either.
The only thing I don’t love is the price point ($ 12). Slightly cheaper and I’d be there often!

First off let me say how amazingly friendly and passionate about her food the owner is, makes everyone feel like a regular. The grilled cheese with bacon was excellent, especially good was the crispness of the bacon and the amazing bread she uses, cheese blend was very good but will try the cheddar next time. Mac n cheese was very good, she finishes it on the grill so it gets some great crispy cheese mixed in. I will try it again next time perhaps with some of the toppings/​add ins she offers. A great food truck in Bellmore and I’m so happy to have them nearby. I’ll be back for sure!!!

AMAZING!!! We shared the Say Cheese and Chicken Little and both were delicious! We topped it off with the S’more donut and it was also so good! The owner and staff were super friendly and said you can even call your order in so you don’t have to wait. We can’t wait to go back!

Rediculous!
Who makes a grilled cheese on a gigantic roll? They do, and OMG they are huge and filling! Filled with sausage and peppers… Pulled pork… And so much more.
Wanna really top it off? A crispy cream s’more for desert
Top it off? The staff is awesome and the truck is clean!
A must try!

Wanted to write this review while I’m still standing in the parking lot eating because it’s that good. Delicious. The owner of the truck is the sweetest lady you might ever meet. Great bread, homemade and crispy. Great variety of choices. Not just your typical grilled cheese and I’m almost certain if you made something up she would be glad to make it for you. Will definitely be back and already have shared with all of the local people that this is a must visit. It’s a real large sandwich, worth the money.

Very, very tasty. I had the «mac & cheese sandwich» (and I added bacon). My wife had the «oh sweet child» (grilled cheese with sausage). Both were awesome (the FANTASTIC bread is what makes the sandwich). They make the sandwiches fresh, but it only takes a few minutes.
A «small» is big enough, trust me.. .
I will be back.

Finally tried this food truck which has been parked fairly close to my home for sometime. Staff is so friends and happy and I was glad to see they were quite busy because I want this to be a permanent fixture!
I went with the where’s the beef sandwich. Really delicious, their crunchy grilled bread is amazing, their own cheese mixture was so cheesy good and add onions, steak and grilled peppers and it was a perfect sandwich!
For $ 9 I had a sandwich (small), Fritos and a coke– home run!!!’

Awesome food truck! It’s located at the corner of Bellmore Avenue and Bellmore Road which makes it accessible by Sunrise Highway, the Southern State, and Jerusalem Avenue.
This truck serves up some great grilled cheeses and ballpark grub. I opted for the Philly cheesesteak which they had a really cool take on. It was served on their pide style bread which is so crispy. It also has their signature cheese blend which is scrumptious. Just an all-​around great sandwich.
Next time I’ll have to try one of the grilled cheeses!
