Amelia’s Farm

Ben and Amelia Von Kennel, a young husband and wife power team, created Amelia’s Farm after being introduced to commercial hydroponics by their close friend Sean Henry and his company «Central Texas Specialty Growers». Sean’s passion for growing vegetables hydroponically inspired Ben and Amelia to further explore the health benefits of this growing concept. They both desired to be self employed and put their combined skills towards a company that focused on a healthy and positive lifestyle. Along the way, Ben focused his efforts on losing weight with traditional and non-​traditional weight lifting and learning about various gardening/​growing techniques. While Ben concentrated on fitness and growing efforts, Amelia began experimenting with new recipes and cooking techniques with the assistance of her mother (a former professional chef). Their new health focused lifestyle led to numerous hours of brainstorming and planning as they strived to find a way to combine their skills and dreams into a successful company, finally, Amelia’s Farm was born.
