I lived in two Delta Properties in about three years. I started out at the Lincoln House with another person. The apartment was beautiful and quiet and the manager, Lynn, very responsive to complaints or maintenance requests. After about five or six months, however, I needed to move because of personal problems with the person with whom I lived. Lynn was helpful and receptive to my predicament and found me a great little apartment on Orchard Avenue. This review is primarily for the Orchard Avenue apartment. While a small building with small apartments, it was well-built and solidly constructed. I loved my little apartment and was there for about 15 months until a new job required me to move across the state. While I was at Orchard Avenue, Lynn quickly sent repair men to replace dripping faucets in the bathroom, tighten a loose commode and, when the gas company changed the gas meters and discovered the furnace had a cracked heat exchanger(when relighting the pilot), she arranged to have a new furnace and air conditioner installed within a week. Fortunately, the weather was very mild and she offered me a space heater when it got chilly. Overall, I think Delta did a commendable job offering very nice apartments at reasonable prices. I am extremely impressed with the responsive management and would recommend either the Lincoln House or the Orchard Avenue apartments to anyone looking for a good, safe place to live. These two apartments have been my favorite places to live and I would have remained at the Orchard Avenue address for years had my job not required me to relocate.
