Victor does a superb job and really understands not only how to tune a piano, but understands
the mechanics of how to fix piano issues (hammers, strings, stuck keys, etc.). He understands
how to change a piano’s «action» (resistance when pressing keys) which can be extremely helpful. I had a friend of mine who Victor had once installed a humidifier in his piano because of stiff action due to dry air. It fixed the problem! Vic has deep understanding of piano hardware and is a really nice guy. Not a lot of craftsmen remain with this precious skill set!

We had Victor come out to tune our upright piano, which hadn’t been tuned in our recent memory. He did a great job and even explained to me things I didn’t know about our piano (it’s origin, it has real ivory keys, there were some pieces inside it that I didn’t know about). He knows his stuff (he works at MIT as well) and we’ll be having him come out again to keep it in tune.
