One of the best ice creams I’ve tasted. My favorite part was their amazing, creative cones. Just wish they had seats!

High-quality, smooth ice cream and nice variety of about 20 ice-cream flavors, but the taste is mild, not as bold as I’d like. Frankly, not as tasty as premium brands you can get in the supermarket or the homemade stuff at local dairies. Also, portions are small. Their largest size is the smallest portion I’ve ever seen at an ice cream place(my friend said so, too) — it’s quickly/easily gone, even when not hungry — I mean, seriously, they are small scoops. At Kimball Farm, for example, you’d lose consciousness if you tried to eat all of their large cup(which is tastier and couldn’t be fresher) in a single sitting. There is no seating inside, and, as another reviewer mentioned, their plastic spoons are soft, pliable, and not very effective. So, overall, not a satisfactory experience.

Love Emack & Bolio’s ice cream. We’ve been always a fan! Happy that we finally have one in Belmont. Here’s my problem, the spoons! Stopped by at this location last week and I was really annoyed by the spoons! I know it is just spoons but if I cant eat my hard ice cream because the spoons are so cheap that you can’t even scoop without almost bending the spoons in half because they are the cheapest quality, how can I enjoy the ice cream? Even my 8 year olds couldn’t eat their ice cream because of the spoons! And a kiddie size is almost $ 4 a cup. Samantha who was helping us was really great!

Yum yum! I’ve always loved Emack & Bolio’s(their candy/marshmallow-wrapped cones are amazing!), so when I realized one had opened up near Cushing Square(thanks, Unilocal!), I made the hubby detour over there immediately — yep, during the throes of our Valentine’s Day blizzard… And, yes, it was cold having an Oreo frappé, but oh so good! Super-friendly server made one of the best frappes we’ve ever had — great consistency, total yumminess.

Yay! A new Emack & Bolio’s opened in Belmont! The staff are SUPER nice and friendly. The offerings are the same awesome Emack & Bolio’s offerings you probably already know from their many other locations. The person working behind the counter, when she learned I have a chocolate allergy, offered to go get a clean scoop from the kitchen to avoid cross-contamination(most of their stuff has chocolate in it). I had not even thought of that, to be honest. And the tiny amount of chocolate that would potentially be on an ice cream scoop could actually be enough to give me a stomach ache(I’m really sensitive to chocolate, and yes, it totally sucks), so if not for HER taking the initiative to suggest getting a clean scoop, I might have been sorry later. Anyway, five stars for excellent frozen deliciousness and a staff that is not only super nice, but also smart and thoughtful! Best of luck to this new franchise.

So happy to have a fantastic ice cream/frozen yogurt/chocolate shop near to me!(Just across the street from Starbucks, the upcoming Cushing Square development, and around the corner from Vicki Lee’s.) Love the cute shop, the wonderful selection of frozen yogurts, ice creams, micro-brew sodas, smoothies, and homemade chocolate. I really enjoyed my Black Raspberry Chip yogurt! I also had a very good chocolate pretzel. I will definitely be back!

Just stopped in this afternoon for ice cream & treats with three children. Owner could not have been nicer. The ice cream was delicious and the case of chocolate treats is amazing.(Boys got chocolate covered rice-krispie treats and smores. Yum.) The store itself is really cute and colorful. We live just a few blocks away and are thrilled with the new location.(In case you haven’t seen it … it’s in the same little strip of stores with Brother’s & Vicky Lees.)

This shop was a bright, refreshing place to walk into! Between the welcoming colors to the fun designs everywhere, it’s a great place for kids! The service is also terrific, we were given a very warm welcome when we came in the door. The only downside I can see to this place is that they have no seating. They also have a little section for chocolate treats,(in addition to their ice cream and frozen yogurt) such as brownies and peanut butter cups. I didn’t get anything on this visit, but I look forward to trying many of the items this place has to offer!
