What more can I say about this place that hasn’t already been mentioned? It’s really the ideal jewelry store. It’s got lots of affordable and unique pieces of all types. The owner is always nice and patient with me while I look over his pieces looking for the perfect present (which I always find).
This is my go-​to store for jewelry and it should be yours too.

I’ve been going to this store for years, and I am fortunate to live in Belmont within walking distance. I find the owners and staff very knowledgable and helpful, and I love the variety of what they have to sell.
Many times I have taken necklaces in to be repaired, earrings to be converted to pierced, and pins made into pendants. Need a silver chain? You’ll find a nice selection.

For me Unilocal is particularly useful for the extra special place and places to avoid… this is one of the extra special. Actually was just looking them up to find their hours and the Unilocal page came up and just had to add my mutterings to the general not surprisingly all positive collection (after all have been helped by so many Unilocalers about other places)!
First time I was there years ago was in the neighborhood and peeked in — thought oh, lots of … different… items…OK. (I shrugged.) It took a while. 15 minutes maybe … to acclimate as all sorts of items are mixed together and only after some time does one register that there is something perfectly fitting for everyone!
There are inexpensive things and expensive, exotic and more commonplace, items with wonderful stories attached and those that are just particularly nice versions of their genre. I have yet to bring a friend who has not left with something that looks like it was made especially for their shape faces or hands, their coloring, their personality… it really is a magical place. And as good as it is for gifts it’s particularly good to spend time and pick that perfect item for yourself or with the giftee in tow!
And, yes, (as others have written) the owners are oh so knowledgeable and sweet.

This is simply fantastic. A small store space, but when you make suggestion the owner starts pulling out trays of extra treasures. Items are unique, or great quality and surprisingly low prices. I have never seen jewelry like this anywhere else. Bring a check as credit cards are not used.

This jewelry/​antique shop in Belmont is a hidden gem. There is so much to look at here! The owners also have many items not on display so be sure and tell them what you want. Their pieces are classic, yet original. This is not department store jewelry. Shop hours are 12 – 6 T/​F/​Sat and 12 – 8 W/​Th, so don’t visit in the morning. Cash/​check only! Save a few dollars to buy some ice cream at Brigham’s next door!

Yes, this shop is really as good as it gets. If you are a silver fiend, you will be in heaven. The owner is so nice and knowledgeable and his collection is INCREDIBLE — and everything is gorgeous. Pace yourself or you will be visiting often, spending way too much money here, and find yourself owning more silver than you have time to wear.
This shop is truly extraordinary and worth a trip from quite a distance, in my opinion.

In addition to what other reviewers have mentioned about silver and jewelry, they have a corner stuffed with really nice teacups, and another with nice glass pieces. They also carry new jewelry, which is amazingly gorgeous, and expensive– great prices for the quality, but still very up-​market.

If you are looking for very unique jewelry and antiques, head over to this place. Huge selection of jewelry from all over the world. Mostly silver pieces, but some gold as well. Make sure you come with some time on your hands, you can spend hours in this place going through the cases and displays. Decent prices too!
