I called in this morning to briefly explain a sore on my foot and was cut-off almost immediately. The woman who answered the phone literally stopped me mid sentence and said can you hold… click! She so lacked concern for my situation that I chose to look elsewhere right away. As patients, we sometimes call a doctor’s office to ask if we are speaking to the right type of doctor, and almost every time we have a concern about some part of our body/health. It’s important to feel that the person on the other side of the phone cares enough to not cut you off in a rude tone and place you on hold. Never giving this place a second thought. Thanks lady at the desk, and thank you Unilocal for making this type of experience be public information.

Dr. Heard has been my go to foot doctor for a decade. He has helped me through multiple foot issues including achilles tendonitis, fungal toenail, ingrown toenail, and ankle issues. He has been focused on feet for decades and knows what he is doing

The office was easy to find, the receptionist was nice, the bathroom was clean, and there were surfing magazines in the waiting room. Dr. Heard was gentle, knowledgeable, and easy to talk with. I will definitely be back if I have any more feet issues!

I wish you could give negative stars as this guy would have negative 100 from me. I saw this guy for 2 months cause I had this pain in my feet which sometimes would be so bad that i wouldn’t be able to walk. He gave me cortizone shots which didn’t really help except for the first 20 mins while I was in his office. He did X-rays and even mentioned surgery. After 2 months of agonizing pain, I had another doctor appt with my cardiologist. As I limped into his office, he asked me what was wrong. I told him about my feet and he immediately said, «That’s Gout». He told me to see a Rheumatologist which I did the next day and sure enough it was Gout. My Rheumatologist gave me a shot and the pain went away almost immediately. He prescribed me some pills and I haven’t had the Gout anymore. My heart doctor who didn’t even really examine my foot knew it was Gout. How about that! So Dr. Heard saw me for 2 months and never once mentioned that it could be Gout. He basically milked my insurance as much as he could. I found out later on that you shouldn’t even get cortisone shots too often and should do it only every 6 months or so. This guy is a quack and to think he even tried to bill me an additional $ 200 that my insurance didn’t pay. Yeah good luck with that. Dr. Heard you’re lucky that I don’t sue you for malpractice. Save yourself the trouble and NEVEREVER see this guy.
