What a HORRIBLE way to do business!
My husband and I had an in-​town move scheduled 6 days from now and just yesterday we found out my job is moving me to New York. My husband called the company today and left a message saying we have to cancel our move. An hour later, my husband received a call back from some guy at the moving company who yelled into the phone, «you’re a fucking asshole,» and hung up. My husband called back to explain that we had no intention of canceling on such short notice but that we ourselves had just found out we’re forced to move. The man at the company just continued cursing and then hung up on my husband.
Very rude. Very unprofessional.
We will certainly spread this word to all of our friends and connections within Cambridge and Boston.

Yeah, I was there at the time, and can confirm everything Emily says is true — it was the move from hell.
In addition to everything that went down on that day, they never once apologized for the horrible experience we had, and are currently giving me this grumpy attitude now that we’re billing them for the cleaning costs for our new couch, which they didn’t cover when transporting it in their dirty truck. Even if I was in the wrong and being a fussy bitch customer, what the hell ever happened to being professional and polite?
These guys really suck. I wish I’d gone bankrupt paying a more expensive moving company for a job well done than work with these jokers.

We hired these guys for our move from a first floor apt in Brighton to a third floor walk-​up. They showed up 3 hours late, which I don’t blame the movers for but I blame whoever booked the first move and grossly underestimated the amount of time it would take. These guys showed up and immediately started complaining about the previous move and our packing job. The foreman was Sean, who was actually professional and did a good job. The problem was with the other guy, who was whining and moaning the entire time about my tiny boxes filled with books, how he didn’t have lunch before he came («I’m running on only water!»), and how he stayed out until all hours the night before. On top of that he made me angry and when I swore at him (my mistake, but hey I’m the customer) wouldn’t shut up about it for the next 2 hours. 2 hours of being scolded by this man that I hired to do a job! I’m a grown woman; don’t call me sweetie!
Boo to this company, I hope Sean finds a better place.
