Really bad experience with an agent at this company. She never seemed like she wanted to work with us. Emails where going back and forth and we weren’t getting anywhere. Total waste of my time.

I really wanted to like these folks. Cute business cards, small family-like office, it sounded great. And I actually did like the agent we tried to work with, but she was«in training» or some such, so she worked in a pair with another agent. A rude, condescending agent who completely lost our business. Here’s the deal. We went to one of their open houses and liked the unit enough to put in an offer. They said they could be dual agents, which means they represent both the seller and buyer(us) equally. I don’t think they understand the«equally» part though. They kept telling us how the seller was«losing money» and could probably find a buyer who would pay more than us. Which we should care about why? If there were other, more ideal buyers, why were we the only ones putting in an offer? We were willing to let these folks be dual agents and get the full commission of the sale, but they were so obviously not working for us. They were solely representing the seller’s interests. When she spoke with our mortgage broker, who was thorough, nice and almost even funny, she was curt, rude and downright snotty. He used different words to describe her, but you see what I’m getting at. The broker was referred to us by a family member who is in the business in Miami. I felt really comfortable with him, in stark contrast to the woman from RE109. If you’re a seller, maybe they’ll fight tooth and nail for you. But as a buyer, go elsewhere and get an agent who truly wants you to get into a place you love at a price you’re willing to pay.
