I would not recommend this dentist if you have any discomfort or fear in the dental chair. Do yourself and this office a favor and go elsewhere. I have very good teeth, thus have not had to have my head drilled off with fillings. This dentist convinced me that I should get some«Dentites»(small cavities) filled. At the time of my visit June 2002, the dentist advised me to get one tooth filled at a time-he wanted to fill 6 teeth. Two of the teeth were my lower wisdom teeth. I had two teeth filled with a white filling and was able to have the procedure performed with a local shot of pain killer. The problem transpired on my third visit when the dentist hit an optic nerve while injecting a shot of Novocaine. The shot blinded me for about an hour. I sat in the office, very upset and scared. The dentist and his assistant checked on me, but were very distant. As my vision returned, I was quickly ushered out of the office and discharged. I was told that I would have to seek out sedation dental care and this dentist would no longer be willing to perform oral care for me. Everyone I spoke to told me to contact an attorney. I am not a litigious person, so I went on with my life without consulting an attorney. This experience has remained a terrible memory and I have been unable to go to another dentist and have the dental care performed. I found this entire experience to be unprofessional and would not recommend Blaine Rudisill or his dental office to anyone.
