Lied about the timing belt and water pump being replaced on a car I bought from them. Totally deceptive and lied to my face. No way you can trust a shop like this.

This place is extremely unreliable especially if you’re using a 3^rd party offer (i.e groupon, living social, or amazon local).
I bought an Amazon Local deal for an oil change using synthetic oil for $ 39.99 (clearly should have checked Unilocal first).
I called this place and left a message because nobody answered. I never received a call back. I assumed they were busy and tried to reach them again in a few days. Even after calling at various times — at 10am, 1pm, and again at 3pm. I never got an answer or follow up.
So I called Amazon yesterday and refunded the deal.
Technic Auto Center has clearly pumped these offers out to various 3^rd parties for exposure. And now, they are losing money since people would rather use the deal than pay full price.
Well that’s the grave they dug for themselves and it’s clear by the unprofessionalism that they’re too stupid to handle the situation like proper business owners.
To the business owners: hope this is a wake up call that leads you to treating your customers better.

I got my car detailed at Technic Auto Body recently and was very pleased with the work they did on the interior of the vehicle.
Though I take pretty good care of my car, there were some residual stains in the passenger’s seat from a spill many years ago. When I dropped off the car in the morning, I mentioned that I wanted them to do their best job on that particular problem spot.
Two hours later, I came to pick up my ride and it looked so good on the inside! The stains in the front seat were practically gone (hey, these guys do good work but they’re not able to make your car look brand new if you’ve got stains from 3+ years ago!). And the price couldn’t be beat — less than $ 60!
If you don’t live close by, I’d suggest walking over to Starbucks at the Ralston shopping center while you wait. Or get someone to pick you up/​drop you off. The waiting room is not ideal and the shop itself is located on an industrial street.

I bought an Amazon Local voucher for a wash and wax. To redeem the voucher, I was instructed to call (415)812−0910 to make an appointment. I called on four occasions over two weeks and only got voicemail. Nobody ever returned my call.
I requested a refund of my voucher today.

Best detailing shop in town! When I was looking for a place to get my car detailed for a hot date from Japan, a friend recommended me this place. They have best customer service and knowledgeable staff. They treated me with respect and take good care of my car. My hot date was surprise my car was so fresh so clean, she open up the garage ;) It was all worth it! LOL

I bring my blue Mini Cooper S to them on Monday for a hood repair, and they finish it in 2 days, everything looks perfect to me ! And they always have lowest price in bay area~! I will tell all my friends about this body shop ~!

Yikes. $ 70 for a «2-​hour express detail» on my car. I was really disappointed when I noticed the techs had left bug splatters all over the front bumper, even after waxing the outside. The wheel covers still had black grime on them, and the interior was not only full of dog hair not thoroughly vacuumed up, but food stains and dirt that hadn’t been wiped off. This place was a waste of money!

I was not impressed with the work done on my car. There was lots of dirt left on the front-​bottom, around the handles, in the wheel wells, and on the wheel covers. I even saw a stripe along the roof as though some areas couldn’t be reached. I also saw some major surfaces inside the car that didn’t appear to have something as simple as a wet towel pass over them.
I don’t believe the company spent 2.5 hours on this car. I could have done a much better job in 30 minutes on my own.

A few months ago I purchased a hand wash/​wax groupon with these guys. It was closing in on expiration, so I called to make an appt. As noted elsewhere, do NOT expect same day/​same week appts… these guys stay busy. I received a time/​date, and at the appointed time, showed up.
So first impression — this is NOT a car wash (admittedly, that’s what I was expecting). It’s more of a collision/​dent service that seems to offer this deal on the side. Nonetheless, I turned over my voucher and took a seat in the waiting room.
About an hour later, they came and took me out to my car. HOLY crap… what a phenom job! Not only washed/​waxed, but tire treatment, vacuuming, and general cleaning!
HIGHLY recommended. This is probably the best wash/​wax I’ve seen in the Bay Area.

They went above and beyond for my groupon detail job. The staff was friendly and I am glad to say they did not cut any corners! I recommend them for sure!

Can’t get an appointment. Called April 9 for a wash and wax. Was told next availability was May 3. Who schedules their car washed out a month in advance???

Came in today for a car wash and wax service I purchased on Groupon. I feel like they went above and beyond my expectations given the price I paid. The exterior looks great and the interior was vacuumed quite thoroughly.
They even packed up all the crap I had in my trunk neatly in my Ikea bags. That alone was worth the face value of the groupon.
If you’re thinking about buying the groupon, be forewarned that you might have to wait a few weeks because their scheduling is booked up, but the service itself is well worth the money.

Please go there to get your cars clean, folks!
I got the Groupon deal for $ 38 bucks to clean the dirt out of my car. I wasn’t expecting a lot from them since their company is new and not many people give them comments on Unilocal.Anyways, I decided to give it a try. I followed the instruction provided by Groupon and made an appointment online. It said it will take up to 3 hours for cleaning. I was glad that there is a Starbucks around the shop. When I dropped off my car, they pointed out the damages (like dents and the scratches) that were already on my car, and told me it would take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Sounds professional and great.
After two hours, I headed back to the shop. I noticed that there was a car which was same as mine parked near the shop. I hesitated for a second, and I realized that was my car. I could not believe that my car could be clean as a new car. I really hate them! Because I will feel guilty of driving my car and making it become dirty again!
In the Groupon, it only says wash and wax which including wipe down the interior, but they also got my all weather carpets cleaned!!! That was a surprise. Now I have the carefully clean my shoes before stepping into my car. I really want to give them tips but there was no one in the front desk. I truly want to say thank you. I will definitely come back with my other cars and recommend their shop to my friends.

I got a groupon for a wash & wax. I called and made an appointment and was told that it would take about 1 hour. So I planned to wait. Right before heading out there i looked at the groupon and it said 1.5 hours (fair enough, i can wait anothee half an hour)
The guys were nice and the job was good. However I was a bit annoyed that when I dropped my car off and asked again how long it would take, it became 2.5 to 3 hours! In the end it took a little over 2 hours… not as bad as what they told me the 2^nd time but I was still pretty annoyed at the inconsistency.

WOW! William Lee and his crew are amazing! They did an excellent job and were super nice!
I learned about Technic Auto through Groupon and decided to bring a Range Rover and Mercedes in recently. They look brand new now! Not only that, but these guys were kind enough to drive me home while the Mercedes was being detailed today and just dropped it off at my door. Above and beyond what I was expecting! I definitely plan to return and will highly recommend them to everyone I know!

Though manager, Larry, feigned ignorance as to how the damage occurred, he admitted it occurred on his watch. He told me to submit an repair estimate and I did. He has been out to lunch ever since. Literally. Every time I call his minions tell me so. Luckily, I have full coverage. Otherwise I would have been battling these negligent Bobbleheads in court.

Best place to have your car taken care of. Even though it is quite far for me to drop of my car there, it is worth every drop of gas. They wash, polish, and wax with great attention to detail that you would feel like your money was well spent. This is not some knock off detailing shop, they actually use products that are high quaility. I’ve seen other expensive detailing shop that just use costco hand wash shop to wash cars. BUT NOT THIS!
I recommend everyone to go this place to give your car a treatment!

I ran my evo x mr off the track at thunder hill raceway, covering the exterior and interior in powdery dirt. Two fellows from Technic came to my house to detail the car, arrive early (great!), spent more than three hours making sure every square inch was rid of dirt (they even took small paintbrush sized brushes to get hard to reach places). Great work, very punctual and superbly priced. In fact, it was so reasonable, I happily gave them a $ 15 tip.
Highly recommend.
