This is a family-run toy store with a neighborhood feeling. What I most appreciate is that the emphasis is on quality; there’s a lot of junk in toy retailing but you won’t find it here. Items are well-displayed and the space doesn’t feel cluttered, so it’s fun to browse. Puppet selection is often terrific; book section could be more robust. Prices are at retail — if you keep an eye out, though, they run special promotions and sales at various times of year.

Nice little toy store. We go here a lot for birthday and holiday presents. The kids love it.

I’m not sure why this store still exists. I look around in here once every few months with my children. I don’t think a salesperson has EVER asked me once if I’ve needed help, or even asked me how I’m doing. Typically, a few salespeople are chatting/gossiping without even acknowledging customers. It seems like I’m bothering them when they have to stop their chattering and ring up my purchase. Please improve your customer service!

We are so happy to see another toy store open where Belmont Toys used to be. While nothing can take the place and wonderful memories we have imprinted as a family at the previous toy store, I am glad to see a small shop open there. I would say they have the same sort of merchandise and about the same prices. The amount of stock is a lot less but the grand opening is on Friday, November 25th, so maybe they have not finished putting stuff on the shelves. I hope they can make a go of it!
