Update: Picked up my guitar and I’m delighted. Matthew repaired some cracks, removed a «Frankenstein» addition under the bridge plate that some well meaning but misguided person added at some point over the years, cut a new bone saddle and nut, installed a pick-up under the bridge plate, new tuning machines, and gave it an expert set-up.

I’ve never had a better experience in a shop. The shop is charming and the customer service is outstanding. I needed guitar strings for a junky (but sentimental) child’s guitar for a 7 year old. You can tell they know what they are doing, and the display of pieces of old instruments is really interesting and beautiful. Even though we weren’t challenging, or their usual type of customers, we were treated great and even walked away with free strings. As the 7 year old I was with said, «I want to tell all of my friends to come here!»
