Vincent Kan, LAC

I have been seeing Dr Vincent Khan for over over 15 years. He’s an amazing doctor. He’s professional, extremely knowledgeable, passionate about his profession, kind, and a humorous guy. Dr Khan delivers results. He doesn’t just manage your illness, pain, discomfort, or symptoms, he treats them. He doesn’t hold back in his greatness to give relief or cure unlike other acupuncturists I’ve seen in the past (before converting to him) and that makes such a huge difference when trying to get better. His wife Christina who works side by side with him is also amazing! I highly recommend!!!

What can I say I fly from Los Angeles to San Francisco to see Dr. Kan and that is how good he is. He just keeps me whole as a person. What more can I say. I give 100 stars that is what he gets. He is fabulous.

Vincent Kan is a miracle worker. I have seen him over the past 4 years for two different issues and he corrected/​significantly improved both. Initially I saw Dr Kan for back pain as a result of an accident. He restored me to 100% in 4 sessions. Most recently I visited him for chronic hip pain probably due to overuse and aging. After two sessions I am nearly pain free. Frankly, I am stunned. His practice is a results– oriented mix of Eastern and Western medicine. Dr Kan gets my highest recommendation!

I wish I could give this guy 10 stars. I have been seeing him and Christina for about four months and my health has improved in many ways that I did not even anticipate, or even go to visit them for. I have had many types of treatments with Dr. Kan, including virtual acupuncture, laser therapy, light therapy, cupping, and a few other treatments that he recommends.
I like him so much that I am now driving down to Belmont from SF on a regular basis, as their SF office has closed. It is totally worth the trip, as my health has improved Tremendously. I fully believe that his treatment is helping transform my body into a much healthier more balanced entity, as I have lost about 10 – 15 pounds and eliminated my sugar cravings, and cravings for other foods/​redmeat. I went to see him for other issues, but the weight loss and healthier digestion is just a happy side effect of him helping me fine-​tune my body.
I work with both him and Christina Tran, his colleague, and recommend both of them for noninvasive, and holistic treatments.
He has also helped me graduate to being able to tolerate acupuncture needles, having first started me off on virtual acupuncture. Trust me this is a major accomplishment!
Also the neighborhood that the office is in is really cute.
Both him and Christina Tran are also very generous with their time and knowledge.

A magical healer, highly recommend. What truly distinguishes Dr. Vincent is he is able to explain all his TCM expertise in modern medical scientific language — his diagnosis and effective treatments are backed up with his logical scientific explanations and actionable insights. I’d seen many medical professionals but never seen one — whether in western or eastern — that can draw such a sound analysis from holistic perspective and also fixes the issues. His goal is not just providing effective sessions but genuinely to guide his patients to become self-​sufficient for long term — he really teaches you how to take care of yourself. I love this man.

I’ve known Dr Kan for over 10 years. He’s a man with integrity, confidence and does things with deep sincerity. I’m fortunate to have known him as a Dr who has helped me medically but it’s also nice to know that he became a good friend as time goes by. Vincent Kan and Christina are not only skilled doctors in their field of practice but individuals who take pride & whole heartedly help their patients back to healthy living.
In my opinion, he’s my only «Go To» Dr when western medicine fails. And I will proudly recommend him to anyone who seeks a Great Acupuncturist with effective results.

Dr. Kan is the best!!! After my 1^st session with him, I immediately felt amazing & slept like a baby that night. I couldn’t believe how quickly I felt good. Ever since my 1^st appointment, I have seen Dr. Kan on a regular basis & his treatments have helped me run 2 races much stronger & I always leave his office feeling like a million bucks! Dr. Kan has an excellent demeanor & is always very flexible when it comes to scheduling appointments. If Unilocal allowed for 10 stars, Dr. Kan would have 10! I’ve seen a good number of acupuncturists over the years, and I truly feel that Dr. Kan is the best I’ve met. I came to him in extreme pain. The pain was so bad that I couldn’t walk. After one session, the pain was gone. It was amazing. In the 6 months, I have been seeing Dr. Kan for treatments, I have lost 15 pounds, my sugar and carbohydrate cravings have disappeared and I feel more clear headed and focused. I am also able to handle stress better. Just recently, I developed a sinus infection after catching a bad cold. I was in so much pain that I could barely chew my food. Immediately after one session, I was 50% better and by the next morning, I was 75% better. This is without the use of antibiotics, pain medicine or other drugs. Dr. Kan is extremely knowledgeable and intuitive. He is willing to listen and talk to you. He is a true healer and teacher that goes out of his way to ensure his patients are taken care of. If you haven’t scheduled an appointment with him already, then you are missing out!

I have been treated by Dr. Vincent Kan for degenerative disc disease of my lower back (L4-​L5-​L6) for the past few years. I first been introduced to acupuncture while going through physical therapy for lower back pain (by Dr. Dave from Premier chiropractic)
I was amazed by all the knowledge and possibilities that eastern medicine could offer.
Dr. Kan is a gifted, skilled and highly experienced certified eastern medicine therapist.
Since his background is in western medicine, I found it so interesting to see how ancient knowledge (runs in his family) and western medicine and science combined together. It opened my eyes to an amazing world.
Each session is different and varies in length. Besides the needles Dr. Kan uses laser acupuncture, infra red light (very strong heat lamp) herbs and oils to decrease pain and stress. I get so relaxed that I usually fall into a deep sleep and wake up less painful and so much more relaxed and re energized.

I had been suffering from a concussion after my motorcycle accident for over a year now. My doctor’s kept telling me there is nothing they can do. They told me I may recover more brain function with time, or this may be it for me. There was nothing more they can tell me.
I saw Dr. Vincent Kan in his Belmont office to see if there was anything he could do. He felt my head and said I had fluid in my head, and I will not get better until the fluid was gone. I could feel the fluid as he pressed on the side of my injury compared to the side that was not injured. After two visits I felt my memory retention and concentration was improving. I felt much better as my brain can recalls information’s and starts thinking again. Also, my left foot would be tender after strenuous activates. I asked him if he could look at that also. I had broken the bones in my left foot in the same accident.
After DR. Kan treated my foot I ran 3 miles the next day and I have not had any problem since. I highly recommend giving Doctor Kan a try.
