Very authentic«hole in the wall». The food is great and the service is very attentive. Not going to leave disappointed.

This place is my favorite. The service is awesome, the food is out of this world… everything is good… chimmigangas…burgers…breakfast tacos… fajitas…you cant go wrong… but my favorite part is the salsa. And they have mexican cokes :) dollar margaritas on wednesday… and just overall amazing prices… and now it looks like they are either getting a new building or adding on. Mmmm… love mi pueblo.

I have been living in Belton for 8 years and this evening was my first time going to MIPUEBLO… and I feel like an idiot… The food is amazing I ordered carne guisada, enchilada, fajitas and sopaipillas and wow it tastes like it came out of somebody’s house. Authentic & good!!! It was close to their closing time. My husband and I decided to get some to go food from here at the very last minute and usually I’ll be honest I’m a Taqueria person/customer… however I could slap myself for not ever giving this restaurant a chance in the past… The restaurant is cute as a button however I don’t think it gets that much attention like the others do because the others have better locations(closer to I35) but all in all this food was outstanding, fresh, and hot. Will definitely be eating there again…

Best Mexican food North of San Antonio! I moved to Central Texas from the South and have struggled to find any restaurant that can prepare authentic(& super delicious!) Spanish rice and refried beans, but this place can! We’ve stopped in here a handful of times since being introduced to us 3 weeks ago and nothing has disappointed us so far! –Breakfast tacos? HUGE! If you normally order 2, you will definitely be taking one home with you. –Fountain Coke? Perfect mixture! –Salsa? Both hot and cold versions were authentic and delicious. We run out of chips every time. –Quesadillas? Cheesy and warm. –Cheese enchiladas? What you would expect to find in a South Texas hole in the wall. –Sweet tea? The perfect representation of Southern sweet tea. –Queso? Delicious! My kids were in cheesy queso heaven! –Price? Super cheap! The only menu item so far that didn’t scream ‘authentic TexMex,’ but is still delicious, is their beef fajitas. They chop the meat into small, almost ground size pieces, which make it difficult to eat from a flour tortilla without it falling all over the place. The flavor is still their, but the presentation is horrible. Luckily, it doesn’t effect the composition of a fajita quesadilla! This is definitely our new ‘breakfast taco stop’ and family meet up place!

If you like a place that smells terrible and that has fairly large, cheap, nasty, store-bought portions of food and very, very slow service… Then ohhh yeah, this is the place for you.!!

Oh Belton you have disappointed me twice today; first an over priced lousy pedicure. Have held out all day to eat so I could find a fabulous local food place. The reviews lead me wrong again. The $.99 margaritas were weak but that is to be expected. The warm salsa was not really spicy, the cold salsa tried; but was a very basic tomato sauce with a little onion flavor, some cilantro, and a little jalapeño, but again gringo salsa very little authentic flavor The food was nice and hot, that was good. Was hoping the first bite didn’t have much flavor because it was too hot. I ordered the Mexican plate with a beef enchilada which I swapped out for cheese. That is what I got a cheese enchilada no sauce on it. Bummer. Maybe I should have specified sauce? On to the fajita taco. Small cubes salted beef in a plain flour tortilla! What? Where are the fajita veggies? I could have gotten this at a taco truck and at least had chopped onions and cilantro with it! Beans, okay. Rice, bland with a few carrots and peas thrown in for flavor but even they seemed to have had the flavor cooked out of them. The usual shredded lettuce and a couple of tomato slices on the side for garnish. This has been compared to homemade. All I can say it is must have been awhile since you have had homemade Mexican food. Ate ½ my plate because I paid for it. I am headed to find a raved about Mexican pastry shop. My last try at finding a gem in Belton. The 2 stars(read 5 stars) were for the great service; my server was pleasant and attentive!

This place is always my go to place for amazing breakfast and dinner if you are craving Mexican food. The staff are super friendly and treat people like family. I recommend this place way over the other places in the area. Give it a shot and you won’t regret it.

Amazing little hole in the wall gem. Delicious salsa and the hot sauce reminds me of the fresh, straight from the stove stuff. Charro beans truly satisfied my lust for beans. Reasonably priced and friendly staff.

Best Mexican food in this area hands down. Breakfast lunch and dinner, I’ve been here multiple times and have tried a little bit of everything. Breakfast tacos are the best the al pastor my favorite is perfect. Good news I hear they are building a bigger building with a better parking lot. This is my go to for all things breakfast tacos and Mexican cuisine.

Service 4⁄5 Food 4⁄5 Environment 4⁄5 This is an all around good Mexican restaurant. It wasn’t spectacular but it met or exceeded expectations. Even though they are a small establishment, they made room for our table of 6. I wasn’t in this area for very long but it is a solid choice for Mexican food if your looking for something in the area.

Oh my goodness, I loveeeeeeee mexican food! First off, this isn’t some fancy place, it’s more in resemblance of a hole in the wall; my favorite! The staff here are friendly, the place is open late, even on Sunday. You walk in, seat yourself wherever there is an open table and they’ll be out to have your drink order. The menu is extensive, but from everything I’ve had and friends has had it’s all great! The portion size is huge and the price isn’t crazy — well worth it and affordable. My favorite so far is the Pollo Loco which is grilled chicken breast topped with queso, served with choice of tortillas, rice, and pico. The tostados are huge and great too. We usually come here for dinner on our way back from a long day on the boat since they’re open late. Plus the foods delicious with great staff. I’ll be back time and time again for sure.

Love this place! I’m never disappointed. Don’t let the exterior scare you because this restaurant is great. The staff is always attentive and super nice. Prices are cheap. The drinks are another reason I come here. They have delicious Mango margaritas for 3.50 everyday except Wednesdays. on Wednesday they are .99! Drinks are super cheap and yummy. Highly recommend this place.

Texican at its finest, Price just right, plenty on the plate and made just right. The salsa was fresh and basically the best in town. Do not let the location of other«mexican» restaurants in Belton entice you, this is the spot to eat.

The food was magic! I had the Specials Fajitas, came on a sizzling plate, great quality, mushrooms taste like magic, and the carmelized onions taste like magic. I highly recommend. Very good, friendly service!

Delicious food and friendly and attentive staff, I’ve been coming here for months and have not had a dish I haven’t liked. TVs only have Spanish stations(usually music videos or soccer games) but have Spanish radio playing over the speakers. Well priced and worth every penny! The place to go in Belton for Tex-Mex.

I’ve driven by several times & wondered if would be worth the stop…& yes it was. Don’t let the size & outside deter u from stopping. Inside is quaint with plenty of room & décor is nice. The service is awesome & food very hot! I had the quesadilla plate with both chicken & beef, was tasty & portioned good with rice/beans. I’ll definitely be back to try breakfast now.
