Mixed review-​great fish tacos and chicken fingers. The shrimp salad was bad. They put caramelized onions on the salad which were mush. Overall it was good but not great.

I don’t get it. I came in with my friend/​co-​worker who is African American, also Muslim so she wears a head scarf. I am whiter than white. We were treated so coldly. I asked «Are there drink specials?» NO. Then stared me down. I asked for the beer that was advertised on the table. WE DON’T HAVE IT. Another staredown.
Handed us a menu, «are you ready to order?» We had ½ a second. We felt really unwelcome and my companion looked frightened. She ordered salmon and it was raw. If they wanted us out, they probably should have cooked her food so she could eat it and we could get out.
I was planning to drink up and eat up but was caught so off-​guard that I ordered a salad, I suddenly wasn’t hungry. It was really poor quality and $ 15. This is my first time to Bemidji, I literally just arrived and I feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome here.
The manager got the salmon cooked and the server apologized. I don’t know what was going on but I am here for a few days. I shan’t return.

Delicious food. The Curd Burger was awesone. Fantastic service, food came out quickly. We will be coming back again next time we’re in Bemidji!

The food is so greasy that it gave me diarrhea for two days. The burgers were okay. A lot of flavor only because of the grease. Come to think of it, it was a bad burger.
The cheese curds were really good. They were obviously really greasy, but good nonetheless. Way better than the burger.
The waiter was definitely a douche. He deserved a backhand.
I will most likely never return.
Poop service and close to poop food.

Unexpectedly awesome.
Great, unique food for the northland. Solid beer selection. Cozy feel on the inside. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat.
Side note: I’m a mid 20s male, and one more thing that didn’t hurt was that the (mostly female) bar staff was collectively very attractive. Seriously hot.

Surprisingly delicious lunch stop while visiting up north. The prices are very reasonable and they do accept AMEX! Not your typical bar food pretty quite during the lunch hr.

Really good place. Great Steak Sandwich and truely the best cheese curds ever. I like the burgers but I am not a fan of the signature blend. I prefer a 100 beef burger which is an option. Just my taste. Outstanding beer selection and 2 for ones 4 – 6 with half price apps (wings are really good too) CHEESE CURDS, is the best time to go. Can get crowded with rowdy patrons later at night on weekends.

Looking for the famous Juicy Lucy, and we found it here. Fun little place that exuded a happy, jovial atmosphere… that might have been the best burger ever! They toasted the bun, which I like. And the fried curds were to die for. Great service and cold, good beer selection, too.

At first when I pulled up to the place I was very skeptical. But when I got inside and tasted the food I was extremely surprised! Everything we had at our table was great. The Wisconsin Cheese Curds were absolutely mouth watering! I’ve never been to the state fair nor am I a Native Minnesotan (or from the Midwest), but these cheese curds where the best I’ve had for my whole time out here. That marinara sauce was delicious too! For my dinner I had the Tony burger and that was mouth watering too! I’m not a big burger person but that was as good as the burgers at Red Robin. My co-​workers had the Walleye Tacos and they said those were great as well. The moral of this story is to not judge a book by its cover! Great food!

I don’t know what happened to 209. For a bar and grill Food here used to be so good and even tho it was pricey I didn’t mind Because of the quality, but over the past year there has been a substantial decline. Recently our grp of 4 ate here and we were all disappointed in our meals. One had the wild rice crab stuffed walleye, the walleye was lacking in flavor, didn’t see any crab at all, and the bed of beans it was served on were practically raw. another in our grp had the salmon which was undercooked, someone else had classic burger (which used to be delicious) burgers are pretty basic but thAt was even sub par. Hopefully they get things turned around otherwise doubt if we’ll go back.

Delicious food! I got a Southwest chicken wrap, but I should have gotten a burger, because the wrap was a bit bland. I’m not usually a burger eater, so I didn’t order one for fear of getting a dry one and wasting my meal. I had a bite of my husband’s, though, and it was juicy and delicious! He had cheese curds for his side, and they were miniature bites of heaven, melt-​in-​your-​mouth, amazing! I had the Guiness rings, but I think the batter was a little too thick, because it didn’t stick well in some places, and it was globbed up and undercooked in others. However, the burger and curds were so delicious that I still would highly recommend this place to others. Just don’t get a wrap. Order a burger!

My girlfriend and I found this place on Unilocal and decided to try it. Overall it was a great decision. First, it’s a great bar to watch sports in. We sat at the bar and had three huge tv’s in front of us. The beer selection was surprisingly really good. They even had Kona on tap which I hadn’t seen anywhere else in MN. The food was also tasty. I had the Juicy Lucy and the only complaint was the fries had a seasoning on them that was a little too much for me. My girlfriend also enjoyed a burger and had some of the biggest onion rings I’ve ever seen. That made them hard to eat as the onion was really thick but the breading was yummy. We’d definitely go back here!

I’ve been to the bar three times now. I’ve had the curds of course and you can’t go wrong with them ever. I’ve also had the taco salad, which has a beautiful presentation but I wish there was more tortilla involved. I’ve also had the Spinach dip, which was a disappointment. I felt like it was missing something. The third time I came here, I ordered the 3 pigs sandwich. The pork was seasoned perfectly and was my favorite part of the sandwich.
The bar is a cool place to hang out and overall has a great beer selection and I would say it’s not your typical bar food.
The service is overall good and friendly.

You expect to get bar food at a bar. You go to a bar and find a slight twist on the normal, you’re a little impressed. You gotta give this place some points for trying. They’ve got the normal bar food you need to stay in business in Bemidji, but they also mix it up enough to keep things interesting.
Nice atmosphere, attentive service and a twist on the normal. Whether you’re a local or a visiting citiot like me, you could pick a lot worse places to eat and drink.
