Fantastic food(gyro and hummus), quick turnaround and super friendly staff. Ill definitely come back again when I’m in the area.

The best! They are so welcoming & friendly and their pitas are absolutely delicious. The turkey pita is my go to but everything I’ve tried has been so good it’s usually a challenge trying to decide what to get. You can’t get better than Pak-a-pocket!!!

A couple of guys at work go here almost everyday. I join as much as possible. Affordable prices and healthy options. Get the mushroom, avocado and cheese pita to start and you will be hooked.

Delicious! I ordered hummus, baba ghanoush, baklava, and a falafel pocket. The pocket was perfect– parsley flecked, warm falafel accented with chopped radish, pickles and tomatoes. Hummus was creamy and the baba was rich and flavorful. Everyone was right about the pita chips! The seasoning is wonderful!

I am a HUGE fan of this place. Their falafel is amazing and their prices are very thrifty for quality, healthy food made by a family owned business. Very friendly, too.

Been coming here for 15 years. Best pita chips I’ve ever had and super friendly staff! I love the Gyro, chicken shawarma, tabouli… even the chocolate chip cookies… you can’t go wrong! They cater too!

The food is ok… I don’t get all the hype though. Mine didn’t taste that great: Dry meat without enough sauce to compensate and not a lot of flavor. I love the hummus here though, really good!

Pak-A-Pocket is a great place to stop if your looking for a quick and cheap lunch. Staff is incredibly friendly especially the cashiers. Food is not authentic Mediterranean, but still pretty tasty. My recommendation for a first timer would be to try their taco pocket its my personal favorite.

Since moving to Fort Worth, from Houston, it’s been difficult to locate a good Greek restaurant. I’ve heard and read decent things about this place. Today, I went there and ordered a Gyro sandwich and Gyro salad. They were, both, stuffed to the point of over-flowing with Gyro meat. I enjoyed the sandwich more than the salad, I must admit. The staff was friendly and the place was clean.

I can’t believe I’ve been coming here almost weekly for a year now and never reviewed this place! I LOVE lunch here! I typically stick to the Chicken Shawarma but I’ve also tried the chicken wrap and the falafel which was very good. The food is fresh and a great value for the price. I highly recommend this place!

Same experience as before — extremely friendly cashier, great food, and a couple of «regulars». I love this place.

Gyro lunch special with pita chips and a cookie for $ 5.50. The $ 5 lunch still exists! We walked in and line was out the door. About 10 tables in this little place but service was fast and SO friendly. I had no idea about this place but a friend took me and I was pleasantly surprised. Food came quickly, grabbed a table. Super fresh gyro meat with fresh onion and tomato and taziki sauce. Pita was fresh and warm. Homemade pita chips seasoned right with a little ranch to dip it in, because you know, Texas. Chocolate chip cookie was still gooey and the iced tea was made fresh. Easy in and out and inexpensive with quick friendly service and oh so tastey food. Count me in again.

I have been coming to Pak-A-Pocket literally all my life, since I grew up next door. Despite being in kind of a hidden location behind a gas station, the line is often to the door during lunch. It looks the same inside as I remember as a kid. Their gyros are the best I have ever eaten. I’ve lived in various cities and have never found a restaurant with a better gyro than PAP. I’ve tried their other menus and their are excellent as well. Love the chicken wrap. Try the gyro with lettuce, onions, and provolone! Get the pita chips on the side and dip them in their amazing Tahini sauce. The owners are a sweet couple who usually still take orders and make the meals themselves. True local mom and pop restaurant. Pak-A-Pocket is a genuine Fort Worth treasure. I make sure to try to stop by every time I’m back in town.

I would have never noticed this pita heaven if it weren’t for the man friend. It’s tucked away in the plaza on Bryant Irvin and Bellaire. Um, they literally stuff anything and everything into the pita! I had the falafel pita and I really liked it. They have a variety of different ones to choose from like gyro, and some combo meats. There was so much. The pita chips are very good too. Crunchy, crispy and surprisingly light, the seasoning on them is perfect too. Truly a hidden gem.

I love Pak a Pocket. It has the down home feel to it. The restaurant is kind of country looking and the staff is really friendly. Always go for the homemade baked pita chips, they’re pretty amazing. I usually eat the falafel or grilled chicken wrap, they’re both insanely good. They also have some pretty tasty baklava.

Yippee, my first Unilocal review and it gets to be for one of my very favorite restaurants. I’ve been eating at Pak-A-Pocket at least 2 times a week for over 17 years. Now granted I work in the area but their lunch specials are always great and the price is very reasonable. The daily lunch specials are around $ 6.00(after TT&L) you get a pocket sandwich(choice of 2 every day), chips, fruit(apple or banana), and a drink. They have all the usual deli sandwiches but my favorite is Taco Pocket Wednesday. They have the Taco Pocket every day but Wednesday is the day it’s the special. The Taco Pocket is ground beef(spiced just right), American cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and tomato all in a pita pocket. The pocket sandwiches are all really good but the PITACHIPS… Oh man they are just the best. They are made fresh several times a day. Pita bread toasted to «garlicky perfection» and loaded with herbs and spices. A word of warning when I say garlicky I reallllly mean it. The garlic will stay with you for HOURS. I get into trouble every now and then even at 10:00 at night after having them at noon. If you become a regular and order the same daily special every time(like I do), you order will probably beat you to the register. So if you want to change something you need to get their attention as soon as you walk in the door. Tell them you want it Terry’s way(I said I’ve been eating there for 17 years) and you’ll get a bag of pita chips and an extra bag of pita chip in place of the fruit. Great food and Great service from GREAT people is why they have been doing a thriving business for over 24 years.

Pack-A-Pocket has been here in southwest Fort Worth for as long as I can remember and since their equation is so good, they never needed to change. Fresh, delicious pita sandwiches served at very reasonable prices(almost all of them are just below five bucks), with a Lebanese spin on the menu to boot really makes it a local favorite. Usually my go-to is the Gyro Pita, but since I’ve never tried their Kafta I went with that this time around. The Kafta served was pretty unique as it was not in a kabob form, but really in a burger patty form so it fits better in the pita. The spices and seasonings present made for a delicious Kafta pita and I rank it right up there with their Gyro pita. The Girlfriend ordered the gyro pita and she enjoyed it as well. So if you are looking for a bit of a change from your regular sandwich shop, the combination of cheap prices and Mediterranean flare should do it for you here.

Great place to eat lunch. My other half eat here all the time for lunch. He loves the Monday and Wednesday specials. He has taken me here twice. I do not work over here so it is to far for me to eat at. Except on special occasions. I will be on this side of town. But back to the review. The Taco Pocket is very good. And the ham and cheese pocket are top notch. The portion size is prefect you will not be hungry after you eat. You also get chips, fruit, and a coke. They do have a variety of other Lebanese style foods. The restaurant is in a small strip mall. Very clean and excellent service. Great for a fast lunch. The place can get busy at peak hours. But don’t let that stop you.
