Arbor 1 Tree Service LLC

My husband and I called several arborists for quotes before selecting Mike and Arbor 1. Their quote was in line with others, even a bit more reasonable, but what I really liked was the fact that Mike really took the time to walk our property and explain each step before providing a bid. We knew we needed to remove 4 trees but there was a 5^th that we weren’t sure what to do with. Mike is very knowledgeable about Central Oregon trees and gave us a couple of options for dealing with the 5^th tree. We had 4 trees removed, 3 of which had to be removed with a crane. The crew arrived just after 8am on a Friday to do some prep work before the crane arrived at 9am. They were very professional, experienced, and all around great guys that worked their tails off all morning. Before noon they had removed the trees, none of which were easy. (Another company that provided a high bid told us it would be a 2 day job.) When Mike and his crew left, they had cleaned up so thoroughly I could hardly tell they’d been there.
I’m a real estate agent and Mike and Arbor 1 will always be at the top of my list when it comes to recommendations for tree service.

I don’t like to give bad reviews but I must put it out there. I asked the guys to grind 4 stumps below ground. Mike sends a guy to cut the stump and grind it. The key word is below ground! well I had already dug one of the stumps out way below ground that one was ground below grade. The only problem with that one was I had to use my own chain saw gas and oil to cut it off they had a saw that the blade was so bad it wouldn’t cut so I cut the stump off for him. I t was late so the young said he would be back to finish. Next time he shows up and grinds the remaining stumps he leaves them 4 to 6 inches above ground. i was not happy at all the one thing I had said was below grade. So I talked to Mike and he was not nice about it. so I still need to hire a pro to remove the stuff they left after $ 400.00 was paid to do the job.
I have my own business so I do understand customer service. I over deliver in all I can do. so no I would not use them again. and I sugest you do t either.

When Mike’s team came out to do the work they did not have the complete order so 2 of the
items included in his bid were not done. Mike did a fantastic job of correcting this by sending out his best workers who trimmed until I was completely satisfied. In fact I had to ask them to stop as they were doing far more than was included in the price. Mike came out twice to
add 2 more services and only charged me an additional $ 20. I think the mark of excellent service is how they handle even minor mistakes.
