This is a fantastic facility suitable for all levels. I have seen children as young as 3 years climbing, and people lead climbing on 5.13 (and higher) routes. It is beautifully maintained, clean, well-​lit, well-​ventilated, with spotless restrooms.
I’m a climbing newbie, myself, and was reassured by the very-​friendly staff that I’d find lots of interesting and accessible routes for my level. They weren’t kidding. There are many routes equipped with auto-​belay systems, so it’s easy to do solo top-​roped climbs. Every auto-​belay line has at least three different routes, usually ranging from 5.6 to 5.11.
Additional features include a slack line in a grassy enclosed courtyard, a treadwall, and the usual assortment of gym machines in an upstairs room.
We are very, very lucky to have an extraordinary facility like this in Bend. Worth every penny!

Just had my daughter’s birthday party there! 8 girls — shy at first, but once they got going we couldn’t get them to leave!
Staff was friendly, and attentive. Place is amazing, and great for all ages.
Only gripe was the party room, could be just a bit cleaner – tables and chairs looked pretty dirty.

Great gym when I visited awhile back! Love auto-​belay back-​up option for addressing no-​show climbing partners. Do wish they had a better weight room to avoid multiple memberships. As for the last review: Seriously??? You’re gonna blame the gym for law regarding minors? Wow…

Love Bend Rock Gym. Great place for bouldering with a huge layout, great overhangs, and a variety of difficulties. Super family friendly and everyone that works there is approachable and helpful. Best climbing gym I have been too.

So my sister was visiting me in Bend and couldn’t rock climb because I’m not her parent. I know it’s the law but what the heck am I supposed to do? By the way, I’m over 21. Thanks Bend Rock gym for ruining her day. I’m never coming back here again. You won’t have my business.
