Bend Storage And Transfer

We used Bend Storage & Transfer for a local move. It was the worst moving experience we have ever had. Not only did they damage about $ 10,000 worth of our furnishings, they ruined our sofa by leaving it in a truck for five days in the middle of summer with a box of candles on top of it that in turn melted all over the sofa. When we returned from our vacation, our sofa was missing — they did not deliver it nor did they return calls asking where our sofa was. We finally had to threaten legal action to get a call back to find out why our sofa wasn’t delivered. They then tried to pass blame on us. We dealt with the owner who was rude and downright scary to the point that we had to ask him to leave our house. I would never, ever recommend this moving company to anyone. Buyer beware: our move corresponded with a holiday so we had friends helping us. Bend Storage neglected to inform us before we left (and were nine time zones away) that when our belongings were picked up, you have to choose an insurance option. We had a friend helping and the mover told her to check a specific box (we were unaware this was part of the process and she couldn’t reach us) — turns out that was the box that meant that if there was a problem, they had no obligation to pay for damages. It was a nightmare all the way around. If I could go negative on stars, these guys would be a negative five.

I have used Bend Storage and transfer for 3 moves. The latest being to Arizona. They have done an excellent job and are very professional.

Our United truck driver contracted with the local United folks — Bend Storage and Transfer for off loading the van here in Bend at the end of our move. The two men that he showed up with were excellent hard workers. Just a great experience. Nice guys and non-​stop working until all our stuff was in. Recommend.
