Cascade Custom Pharmacy

Cascade custom pharmacy is the best local pharmacy in town! They go out of their way to make sure everything gets filled correctly and in a timely manner! They go way above and beyond what you’d expect from a normal pharmacy and have the friendliest staff!

HORRIBLE. My doctor ordered a special compound for pain management. They jerked me around for a WEEK and never did fill the order. I finally had to go by and pick up my prescription and get it done elsewhere. When I arrived, they ARGUED with me about allowing me to get my prescription. Very UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE. I’ve been in the medical field for over 20 years and I will never recommend or use this pharmacy again.

At first when I started coming to this pharmacy I was thrilled that I didn’t have to request refills from a pharmacy all the way in California for my custom meds since I have allergies to the fillers in most meds. It has been recently that I requested my usual refills and it is now taking 10 days to fill (even though I gave them a full week’s notice!) because two pharmacies have gone out of business for whatever reason. Knowing this, wouldn’t you think they would hire more personnel or stay overtime to get those Rx’s filled so they could get as many of the med requests filled in a timely manner? No, I’ve gone in twice and both times the pharmacist wouldn’t take responsibility for the incompetency at all and even said the customers were to blame for the problems! I happened to come down with a bronchial infection and they told me it would take 10 days to even make an expectorant cough medicine!!! Seriously!!! I was told they only make 20 Rxs per day and they have hundreds upon hundreds of Rxs to fill. I’m not a math major, but I think they will never catch up at that rate! Not impressed to say the least… particularly with their lack of responsibility in dealing with it!

I’m lowering this pharmacy to 3 stars. On two occasions now where they had to call my doctor for a refill approval (which can take days) they forgot to notify me so I can come pick it up. This caused me to miss my daily dose of medication. Seems I need to call them to find out if the refill was approved or not :(
Maybe I’m wrong but I feel the pharmacy should reach out to me with a phone call.
Also, when my husband picked up the now approved meds, they charged him over $ 100 dollars when my prior fill was only $ 12. I had to go back AGAIN to clear this up and get a refund. Very annoying!
I would have lowered it to two stars for this but they advanced me a few days of medication while waiting for my doctors approval which was greatly appreciated.

Just what a local pharmacy should be. Fast, friendly, personal and professional. Truly full service with Conventional medications and compounded medications for my whole family, even my dog. Competitive prices too! Super Clean and always Smells good inside
