Coach Factory Store

My husband surprised me with a new purse for Christmas… He picked a color I didn’t love and went back to the store to see if I could find the same purse in black. Nicole was the woman helping me and she went above and beyond for me. She was so kind and helpful and made my day when she found my purse at another store. Thank you so much Nicole for your kindness and care!

Was staying in Sunriver for the weekend and happily saw the outlet and of course had to stop. The had a great selection of coats, shoes, purses and accessories for men and women. They were running a screaming deal– 50% off and an extra 40% off clearance on top of that which led me to purchase a beautiful travel bag for my husband which he loved! I think a great deal is necessary to shop in here where the normal outlet prices were still higher than what I would spend. This place is still worth stopping for.

The much anticipated Coach Factory Store located in the Bend Factory Stores opened last Friday, November 16, 2012. During my first shopping visit today, I found a large store with both men and women’s sections and merchandise including laptop cases, duffels, handbags, belts, totes, wallets, luggage pieces, leather and fabric jackets, scarves, shoes and gloves. Like most (or maybe all) Coach Factory (outlet) stores this one has the bulk of merchandise made specifically for factory store sales and a fewer number of items that come over on close out /​clearance at up to 50% discounts from the full retail Coach stores.
Lots of über friendly and helpful staff were working here and it is a big and brightly lit space. Additional good thing for today, and it seems for a few days in honor of their opening, is they are offering a 30% off purchase coupon to each customer who walks in the door. Worked for us today to purchase both a new laptop bag and travel — carry on duffel for my husband and he does not part easily with his money in places like this.
Also helpful to know that with receipt, items purchased here can be returned for up to XX days if they are unused and don’t work out. My husband will find that handy as he decided he didn’t like the laptop case for functional design once he got it home. So back it goes tomorrow.
While I guess a big gust of wind could as easily blow me over to four star territory here given the friendly staff and comfy space, there is just something about the factory store philosophy that rings only AOK with me. I guess that means it’s not them it’s me.
From my perch, making less robust items under the Coach name specifically for these outlets and pricing them above where they should be for that level of design and qualify and knowing many folks will buy them for purposes of the logo label is troublesome. On the other hand, if you can find a manufacture red for Coach retail store item on closeout /​clearance discount (as much as 50%) in this factory store, that can be a pretty good deal. In particular with a additional 30% off as special coupon offer.
Shop carefully and it can work out to your benefit here But go in armed with knowing what the same items are selling for at other closeout retailers on line. And a word of advice, as many folks as were coming in today after driving by and noticing the Coach outlet was open, my expectation is they will be really busy once they start advertising for the «Black Friday» weekend. Going in sooner rather than later might be the best plan.
