Recently relocated from a storefront in the Ray’s shopping center on Bend’s westside, Complements Home Interiors now occupies a great space in the new and very interesting Century Center.(In what used to be the Brightwood Mill Building. Right next door to the new Backporch Coffee Roasters location.) We’ve only been in the new location to browse around a couple of times as we’ve been on a «hunt» for some accent furniture. But we’ve been customers of Complements in the past, when they were at the old location, to purchase fabrics for upholstery projects. Our experience was top notch — friendly and expert owner and staff, all interior design professionals, to help us make a good selection, fair prices and great follow up. In addition to an extensive library of fabric books and samples of all kinds, some of which seem unique to Complements in Bend, the staff can also assist you in ordering accent furniture and upholstered furniture from lines they carry.(In the latter, Norwalk as one example.) They also carry a small selection of accessory items and have full design center options, like tile and carpets, if you’re looking for those items. The screeching slow down in home building in Bend has been tough on solid design businesses, like this one. The key to their survival is folks knowing about them to be able to seek them out when they have projects, whether large or small. With that in mind, you’ll find great resources, from products to design expertise, if you visit Complements.
