A wonderful shop of all things Mexicana! I discovered the shop while visiting Bend. The proprietor has an affinity for Mexican culture. From trinkets to jewelry to art, a delightful collection. A slice of Mexico in Bend.

As a lover of all things Hispanic(the equivalent of an anglophile or francophile), I admit to being dazzled by the variety of goods in this colorful store — thought I had stumbled into a shopper’s paradise in the middle of Oaxaca! Although some of the merchandise seems overpriced(but what do I know about importing?), there are also items(such as an irrestible lamp festooned with hearts that I snapped up) that struck me as unbelievable bargains given their quality. And the lovely owner, passionate about her niche goods yet without a touch of pretentiousness, is a delight.

A wonderful shop filled with colorful, reasonably priced items from South America. Or with a South American flare. Walking into the shop you are immediately overcome by the beauty and colors of the items for sale. The woman who owns the shop is always friendly and engaging. This is what I consider to be a happy store. I love to browse and could look for a very long period of time. I’ve been able to find quite a few items for family and friends. Day of the Dead and sugar skulls seem to be popular with the kids(and I’m sure adults as well) and I purchased some really cute earrings, a wallet and purse for my daughter here. Quite a bit of decorative merchandise, as well as clothes, housewares, furniture, personal items and curios. It’s worth a look in here just for the ambiance and flavor of the store alone. Spend a couple of extra minutes and I’m fairly confident you will find a little something for someone(maybe you?) in your life.
