Went today looking for a PS3 game for cheap. Found it for $ 10. Greeted by a cat and pleasant gentleman. 30 day guarantee. Went here in November to buy a used Wii and got one for a decent price($ 60 with a new board in it?, won’t play GameCube games but came w 60 day warranty). Did not spend much time looking around so I can’t speak to inventory or prices. Did not have any issues with customer service either time.

The owner of this place is a complete ass! I tried to buy some merchandise for Christmas gifts. I admit I have no clue what talking about regarding gaming so was looking for some advice. I guess it was too inconvenient for him as he was extremely rude and just a jerk in general so I took my business elsewhere. I told a friend of mine about it(he’s a gamer and buys his kids that sort of stuff all the time). He claims he never goes to this place because the owner is a jerk and won’t take back defective merchandise. I doubt this place will be around long.

I have no idea what I did to this guy but buy controllers from him. He sold me defective controllers and refused to exchange them even though it says he would on the receipt. He offered in-store credit, but then went back on his word almost immediately. I wasn’t trying to scam him and the only explanation he gave me was«…I sell these all the time – I’m not exchanging them…» Worst service, super sketchy, and very poor business ethics. Buyers beware.

Nice store, great collection of goods. The owner on the other hand needs some better people skills. I visited the store again after a year and a half and remembered the reason I stopped going there. The guy likes to talk to people as if they are ignorant or plain assuming that they are. In this economy I think it would be in his best interested to be less arrogant to keep mine and my friends business.

This little independent shop is located in the Fred Meyer shopping center. The owner *really* likes his sci fi, as evidenced by the collection of models suspended from the ceiling and paraphenalia displayed on shelves. He seems friendly to all(tall *and* short) and is happy to answer questions about anything in stock. His trade in prices for games and consoles seems to be the best in town. We shopped around extensively when my son decide to turn in his assorted GameBoy equipment(GBA, GBA-SP, AC adapter) and spend his savings to buy a new DS. We will definitely return to Game Quest as their handling of the exchange process and prices were the best in town. Used equipment is screened for problems and they provide a good in-store warranty and exchange program. A wide selection of new and used titles for different consoles are carried. Game demos are available. And, most importantly, the store cat is very friendly.
