Hola!

Decent margarita! $ 10 but refilled my ice filled glass 3 times! I got the chicken taco combo. The rice was excellent! The beans were average and the taco was really good. Nice moist chicken, lots of lettuce and tomatoes. Next time we go I am getting the table side made guacamole. 2 kinds of salsa served with chips are a bonus!

Sooo freaking good! Everyone enjoyed their meals – and each others. We couldn’t not try each other’s entrees, I got the Lenguado al Chorrillo, I believe. Such a tasty sauce, and we all enjoyed our margaritas. My personal favorite was the tamarind margarita.
Our server took care of us and attentive. It was kiiinda awkward when the band asked our table if we wanted to pay for music though, and we turned them down):

Very accommodating & attentive staff. Other Patrons were rude to the waitstaff but they continued with excellent service without a blink. Great food, guacamole was delicious as was the Hibiscus margarita; Halibut Tacos were fresh & seasoned and cooked to perfection. Kids enjoyed the food as well.

Hey everyone trying to eat at The Hola! Sunriver location they are CLOSED for the winter season. Not sure where the mishap accrued but they set up a forwarding phone number to their restaurant and I’ve now been receiving about 40+ phone calls a day to my personal cell phone with people trying to make reservations.
The number you read on the Google link isn’t my cell phone number but it connects to my phone when the links are used.
Please let it be known that they are CLOSED, again for the winter season.
I’ve spoken with a manager at a different Hola! Location in Bend who was very helpful and is trying to work on this problem but it still isn’t fixed and my phone is blowing up all day.
Soooooo please let it be known they are closed and please stop trying to call them.

Food was rather bland and unimaginative. Portions were weak. It was quite expensive and overpriced.
Not terrible but I am not going back either.

I’ve been here a couple times for lunch this month. Great place to come. Lunch menu is smaller but still has a lot to offer and some decent deals for $ 7-​$ 9. The service is great, but not fast! They are always very responsive, Super friendly, and professional. We were seated quickly and once we ordered or meals were delivered right away, even though they were Very busy for lunch.
I’ve not had a bad meal here. The Roho enchiladas are very good, the 2 tacos lunch also good, the chimichanga good, the salads very fresh!

On a recent trip to Bend we celebrated my wife’s birthday here with 8 adults and 2 kids and we have a great time! The food was hot, fresh, and pretty fast although we were nor in a any hurry, Margaritas were specially tasty and came with the whole shaker so it felt like a great value. In the end for how much we ate and all the countless pitchers of margaritas I felt the bill was a very fair price for the quality of the experience. And to top it off, they didn’t impose a gratuity even though we were a party of 10!
Some highlights; The guacamole appetizer made fresh at the table was some of the best I’ve had. Not too chunky, not too creamy, and just the right amount of spice from the fresh chiles… The Saltado was a recommended dish and I got to try a bite of my wife’s, it was very tasty! I had the Carne Azada (that’s how they spell it) and it hit the spot soaking up my margaritas perfectly. The flank steak was marinated and full of flavor and served with more of the fresh guac. One of my favorite combos is steak and guac so I was stoked!
For such a large party the service was great, we never waited for anything. They brought the birthday girl a shot of her choice and made her wear the sombrero for the traditional butchering of the happy birthday song. They even bought me a shot of my choice for picking up the tab, Don Julio, Wohoo!
I don’t live anywhere near Bend but I would come back to Hola! for sure!

Food was fabulous! Staff is great too. Had the Peruvian Tamales and they were delish!

Only go to Downtown location. Their downtown location has specialty items such as seared ahi.
And are very good.
Their other locations are overpriced and ok Mexican food. I.e. Guacamole is $ 10. Look to spend over $ 60 for 1 apetizer, 2 entrees, and 1 rounds of drinks for two people. Baja Fresh is better.

Not my cup of tea so to speak (I like good value). Food is good just really small portions for the $$. Salsas are good and the margaritas are good.
If you like a good margarita and are not that hungry then this might be the place for you to enjoy.

Went in for «cinco de mayo» dinner today. Although they were very busy they were true to their wait time and that’s much appreciated. I did take in my 2 year old too! I had the prickly pear margarita and the Cuban nachos. My friend ordered something that wasn’t even on the menu and they still made it for her! The service at this one is always 5 stars, hence my review. We love coming to Hola Eastside!

The mango Margarita is sublime! All of the flavors are unique and a tasty experience. The wait staff is friendly and fun. A delicious alternative to Mexican food. Peruvian goodness.

Um yeah, not a single thing wrong with Hola. The wife and I were in Bend back in September and I’m a huge fan of Mexican food, the wife is quite a bit more selective about the mexican food she likes. She really enjoys when I make tacos and burritos and standard fare like that at home, and she loves Chipotle, but hasn’t really been impressed with any of the Mexican joints we’ve eaten at around Portland. The Mexican/​Peruvian combo at Hola is fantastic. Honestly I think it’s the best Mexican food I’ve ever had.
I really wish I’d written this review earlier, and I meant to write it a few months ago but just spaced it out, now I’m drawing a blank on exactly what we ordered. I want to say that she had a Lomo Saltado, because she couldn’t believe how well seasoned the beef was, and the rice was super tasty, and we’re picky with our rice because she’s Brazilian, believe me, we make some damn good rice up in our casa. I want to say I had the enchilada’s, I thought there was one of the menu that had 3 different types of enchiladas but I can’t confirm or deny that. Regardless, it was freaking delicious. Even the salsa and chips to start out, everything was great. Open a Hola in Portland, PLEASE!!!

I want to give a huge heartfelt thank you to Carlos and the amazing staff at Hola Bend Restaurant! My dear friend Jennifer Kem ‘s husband Brandon was in a horrible motorcycle accident on Sunday. Brandon, his friends and family are all from the Portland area, however Brandon is in the ICU at St. Charles Medical with severe head trauma and other injuries. 14 of Brandon’s family members are basically living at the hospital waiting on his recovery, which could be months!
I reached out to several restaurants in the area and asked if any of them could donate hot meals to these 14 family members. 14 people to feed is quite a task and can be very financially difficult, especially when you are missing work, staying In Hotels ect… Hola’s owner Carlos reached out to me immediately and without even knowing us, said «whatever this family needs we will do» Hola’s restaurant is donating lunch or dinner for 14 people for 7 days! I cried when he told me… how amazing this man was to show my friends such amazing hospitality and kindness! Such an act of kindness meant so much to not only the 14 people staying by Brandon’s side, but to friends and family here in Portland who feel helpless being so far away! Carlos and staff stepped up where we could not. Carlos personally came to the hospital and gave the family gift certificates!
This man and this restaurant have blessed us and are a blessing to your community! Thank you Hola’s from all of the Kem’s friends and family who could not bring them a warm meal! We are forever grateful and we will be spreading the word about your amazing restaurant and staff!

This is my favorite restaurant in Bend. This location especially. Chile relleno, and the aji de gallina are excellent too

Love love love Hola! The food here is totally delicious. Red cactus margaritas are awesome! The service is completely amazing! Jose always takes great care of us… And remembers our drink orders! I’ve brought friends from everywhere (across the country and even Canada!) here and everyone absolutely loves it! Too many favorites to list!

Margaritas-​the red cactus margarita was very tasty and you get a lot for your money.
Cebiche traditional– was fantastic and I would recommend.
My husband had the enchiladas which were ok.
The braised pork was very tender but the dish said it had yams but we didn’t see or taste any.
I had been dying to have the Lomo Saltado. I was pretty tasty but I was starting to get full. t

Great stop for a sort of Peruvian/​Mexican fusion. If you’re just looking for Mexican, don’t worry, you’ll be satisfied. And if you want something a little different they’ve got that too. Ceviche was excellent, enchiladas right on target, salsas fresh and very good. Margaritas were generous. All in all an outstanding meal!
