Great place to buy old stuff. The owner is super friendly and helpful. And he hand makes beautiful benches, which he sells at a very good price. I will definitely visit every time I am in town.

What a great find! I bought a couple of brass plant containers and really wanted to buy some of the iron works for my yard bit will refrain for now. Good prices with something for everyone. I’ll actually take my husband along next time so he can check out the vintage tools. Very friendly staff!

Great place to find just about anything. The prices are great. One of our favorite things to do on the weekend is visit Iron Horse to see what new goodies there are. Because of the great prices the inventory moves through and it’s never the same.

This store is incredible! You just don’t know what you will find hidden in some out-of-the way room somewhere. And what’s up with that room there? What on earth was it’s purpose, ever? There is no window, it’s tiny, and why is it up a tiny little stairway? There is no way a piece of furniture like a bed could have ever been carried in there, and no ventilation? Well I suppose it was just meant to be a room in an antique store in the middle of a residential neighborhood someday. So I started my day way on the other side of town and decided it would be a good idea to walk two miles to this particular store because it seemed interesting. By the time I got into the neighborhood, I was getting angry because I’d convinced myself that there was no way an antique store would be situated in the middle of a plain old residential neighborhood that didn’t even have adequate sidewalks or streetlights. But I was determined to find out if the place existed so I kept following the sound of Siri’s voice and there it was! It’s very crowded here. Every nook and cranny filled with something that I could spend an hour trying to figure out what it once was. I feel like it was more antiques/vintage than second hand, which was fine with me. I like both. Since I’d walked here, I wasn’t in the market to make any large purchases anyway. Interestingly, no one noticed that I’d walked in, fine with me. I was very surprised to find so many shoppers here, being as the shop was so far from any other shopping type venues(I wish I’d made friendly with one and bummed a ride back to town.) I started wandering around and found a lot of great stuff, furniture, old textiles, some books, vinyl records, quite a bit of hardware, western stuff and tack, like you would expect from this size of «town.» I was surprised at the prices. Around Portland, prices at Antique and even second hand stores are very high. This store was very fairly priced for antique, vintage, and second hand items. I would love to go back and see what«new» stuff I can find next time(but I will drive for sure!)

Comes highly recommended by locals who have been here 10 years or more. Owner is chill, friendly and is always smiling. Gotta love what you do. Plus the amount of stuff they have! Can’t beat this conso store.

Eddie has the best kept secret in town. Incredible antiques. The friendliest service around. Tucked away in the old Congress Market on the westside of Bend. Once you find this place you’ll be hooked.

Five Stars because each and every town my wife and I visit we try to ask locals about their favorite junk stores. This one’s come up before and finally we found time to visit. Great fun. My wife loves the hunt for décor and apparel items she doesn’t know she needs. Until she finds them. I, of course, would never admit this about tools or porcelain signs or oddball antiques. Nope. Not me. And we both bought lots of fair priced and nicely curated junk. You too should have as much luck. Be brave. Pinterest will be proud. Go for it!

I really like going here if just to snoop around and see what’s new(err, or old, that is!). The gent that owns/runs it is great to deal with and will work with you if he can. They also have a bunch of reproduction items for people trying to build something with an old/vintage look, just ask as some of these items are in drawers. Picked up a couple of neat items on one of my last trips there and yes, they were a bargain!

We live in the neighborhood and when my kids have allowance burning a hole in their pockets, this is a fun little jaunt. Eddy, the proprietor, is such a sweet guy. He always«rounds down»(sometimes a couple dollars down!) on the prices. He seems to have a great working relationship with the vendors who rent booth space in his shop. There is almost *always* a huge load being delivered when we drive by. I have no idea how he keeps jamming more stuff into this place! The Iron Horse is a good place to hunt if you are looking for: Vintage cowboy boots Old cast iron cookware Glass bottles Metal yard décor Knick knacks of all kinds Refurbed furniture pieces There is also a small, well curated selection of vintage and modern name brand clothing, tons of old records(they are mostly in bad shape — think décor or crafting, not listening), and a million other odds and ends. This is the most satisfying antique store I’ve ever browsed in. You could go every day and see something new — not just because it’s jam packed, but because the turnover is very high. Go; you won’t regret it!

Bend appears to hold a vast array of kitschy thift and antique stores. You can’t walk in the old downtown area without coming across some sort of new age antique store on every block. The entire city’s business décor has a warm rustic modern vibe to it, which is intriguing to see. I am a fan. However, I am not a fan of overpriced antiques such as the ones you will find in those downtown shops. Thats why I would choose Iron Horse as my #1 antique store destination for any true pickers and hunters. Why sure, you may be susceptible to rust and dust all over you… but it’s all part of the experience! It is a little bit off the beaten path, but not too far off(only a mile or so). Also, driving through the residential area is a nice visual treat. The store is laid out in a labyrinth of small rooms and collections. It is a controlled chaos of like items and thoughtfully arranged decoration items themselves. Shopkeeper is super friendly, smiled constantly, and buzzed around the store trying to offer assistance. Prices were the lowest that I had seen that day. He was selling an old iron for about 20 dollars, while I saw a similar item downtown for 69 dollars. So yes, come here.

A huge antique store overflowing with so many goodies and great finds, and literally the best customer service I have had in a long time. I purchased about 3 – 4 items(including an amazing pair of vintage cowboy boots), and the owner gave me a $ 3 discount«just because,» he was extremely helpful throughout my visit, and he even helped carry my items out to the car. What a guy. I spent almost an hour in this store with my husband waiting in the car because there was SO much to see. I wish I brought more money with me. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Bend!

straight forward antique shop, lots of knick-nacks gimcracks, doodads, and the like with a lot of second hand goods from the last 50 years. worth a look if you’re in the hood and want something eclectic – not really a place to go if you want something specific. mixture of old Americana-mostly western stuff, second hand modern stuff, just like most antique shops you spend enough time you’ll find some neat stuff. Points for a cool selection of glass windows and old doors and wrought iron(stores name just clicked in my head) stuff. not exactly clean or orderly and certainly not for those with dust allergies. random furniture too. all in all a neat place to poke around in.
