First heard this versatile songstress and her guitarist(Robert Lee. I think) at a Wednesday«Music Night» Happy Hour a week or two ago at, of all places, Flatbread Community Oven in the Mill District. She was fabulous and so was he. Silky, three octave voice is her instrument. Tunes ranging from classics in jazz and blues(Summertime, Cry Me a River) to classic pop(Natural Woman) to current pop(Gravity) as a few of many examples. Music started at 5:00 and we hated to leave when our eats and cocktail had been all consumed an hour plus later. We could have listened all night. How is it we lived in Bend all these years and are just now discovering this artist(who with two others makes a trio at times we’ve heard) who is our kind of performer! Ahhhhh… some listening. She has a Facebook page we where you can keep track of her gigs and also learn how to hire her and her trio. Wish we’d known of Lisa Dae earlier in our Bend experience. But now we know and you do too.
