Metropolitan Barber Shop

Just got a haircut and shave from Skylar that was an hour long treat. He took his time on both the haircut and shave going over each it seemed a dozen times. I really enjoyed the lotions he used both pre and post shave. I saw amazing cuts from the other two barbers. We were just passing through town and I needed to get my beard take down, so I went for the full shave.

I’m practically bald so my haircut needs are down to the bare minimum (I don’t require a wash, dry, curlers, etc) When I moved to Bend one of my 1^st was finding a good old fashioned barber that can provide quick, inexpensive haircuts and the occasional straight razor shave. After walking around downtown and finding that many of the establishments required appointments (which I’ve never needed), I stumbled on Metropolitan. It was exactly what I needed. I have popped in before and they were requiring appointments so I may have gotten lucky but I was able to get in/​out quickly without an appt on a Monday afternoon (When most places are closed).. Skyler was my friendly barber in which will most likely be my go to guy in the future. Great experience.

I was in town in vacation with my girl’s family and needed a fresh cut before I head home. Big man welcome me right in the shop. I’m sorry I forgot your name. The shop is clean and simple. An old time feel to it. There’s even a rocking horse chair for little boys. The price is up there but it’s well worth it. Sometimes it’s hard to find someone that can do razor lines but Big man was on point! There’s a TV if you get bored or a good view of the street to people watch better yet a great barber to have a good conversation with. I’ll definitely will be back if I’m ever in town. Thanks again! 17 bucks. Missed a big spot. Reasonably friendly, overall a decent haircut but for the money might as we go to bond street and get a beer with your haircut.

Great conversation with the barbers, especially Ryan, whom I exchange recepies with. Oh, yeah, he also does a nice haircut.
