Going with 4 stars here not for the quality of their beers which leave much to be desired, but for that of the food. Holy hamburgers batman, just had maybe the best tacos I’ve ever had. So as your crossing off your list of breweries here in Bend, definitely try to hit this place up for lunch.

So much potential with such poor management. Could be a great place if they stepped it up a notch. Under staffed and we waited over 10 minutes to even be noticed. Ordered buffalo wings and they were so mild and totally average. The waitress would drop off another drink and not remove empty glasses. Soon we had 6 empty glasses on our table. Service is poor and food is average. Management just doesn’t care.

I have gone to Riverbend Brewing twice now. Disappointed both times. The beer is amazing He staff takes ten years to even pay attention to you, you could be the only one there and it would still take 30 min to get a beer. I had a vodka red bull and some Mac and cheese and my tab was $ 20 bucks. The waitress added a $ 4 dollar tip already to my tab… She didn’t give me the option of tipping her, instead just did it herself. The vodka red bull was weak and terrible also $ 8.50. The Mac and cheese was super dry and took over and hour to get. You could totally slip coming here and would not be disappointed.

Stopped in for a beer(didn’t eat). The pumpkin ale is amazing! So is the fresh hop. This place is on the ale trail and would definitely recommend stopping by. They also have a lot of TV’s so this seems like it would be a great place to watch football!

Great beer, RUDE staff. I sat at the bar for a good 20mins and got ignored. The girls would acknowledge the man next to me, but not me. After me asking for a menu and still not getting one, the same man next to me finally gave me his! He even made a comment about me being invisible. Feels like a very hostile environment that makes you feel extremely uncomfortable. Sad to see when the brewery has such great food and beer.

This place is pretty good. The IPA is one of my favorites in town. Really good food. Outside fire pit. Excellent bartenders and quick service.

After getting stranded in Bend for another night we stopped by this place to have some food and a decent beer. The place was dead due to it being late on a Monday night after a holiday weekend. They were contemplating on closing early but we ruined that. Cody and Kathy were not only the most polite servers we have had but they entertained us and provided us with any food or drink we needed. Such a personal environment and exactly what we needed after a crappy day. The beer is good. We will be back over and over again because of the experience we had today. I will definitely spread the word to my fellow brew nerds. Thank you Kathy and Cody for the awesome experience.

I found RiverBend after they had free growler night at a Bend Elks game this past summer, and I’m so glad I did! The beers are fantastic, especially they’re IPA. In my opinion it’s one of our best locally brewed IPA’s. The food is terrific! My favorites are the Gorgonzola burger and the Gridiron platter(wings and jalapeño wrappers the size of eggrolls!) The waitresses are fantastic and the owners are not only around alot but very approachable. If you haven’t been here since it was Rivals, do yourself a favor and stop by. You’ll thank yourself.

I used to go to Rivals fairly often last year. Recently discovered RiverBend took over. This is a great little place. Yeah, it’s not so centrally located but it’s nice for that reason and there’s ample parking. Always great food. Try the spinach and artichoke dip with, well, most anything. The beer selection is mostly RiverBend but that’s a good thing. And it’s fresh… made right across the parking lot! I’ve never had a problem finding a place to sit and a TV to watch my game. What’s really nice is they have a chart on the wall as soon as you walk in that indicates which TVs have which games. Very helpful. The ambiance is what you’d expect from a sports bar and it’s nice. They do have a video poker room in the very back. This place continues to be one of my fave hangouts to watch a game and eat good food. The people there are always pretty friendly. They have a nice outside deck with seats and tables plus roll-up doors from inside for the summer. See you there for the Civil War! GODUCKS!

Food is ok but is over priced. Beer is good but I think there’s some room to spruce up the menu and prices are higher than most other breweries. Great place to watch a game and great service by bartenders and servers. Many high quality TV’s and over sized LCD’s to watch your game of choice!

After reading many of the other reviews, i guess I understand why I rarely go to sports bars! Luckily, I like brewpubs, and RiverBend was my second brewery stop this past Wednesday. I only tried one beer, a really good IPA. I didn’t eat or pay attention to whatever crap was on TV, nor did I notice how many TV’s were present. I sat at the bar and was served promptly and courteously by a lady. Yeah, it’s kinda out of the way, but that isn’t necessarily bad! Yeah it’s not within walking distance of Bends coolest areas, but it’s got a big parking lot. As I said before, I really don’t care for«Sports Bars», usually too many Knuckleheads screaming at an athlete, team or coach even though they could never play those sports competitively themselves…4 stars because the beer was really good, and they have chosen not to simply copy all the other brewpubs in the area.

Excellent pub food and beer! Everything we’ve tried has been delicious! Spicy mac n cheese is to die for. Yummy burgers, chicken and artichoke dip. Friendly service. Our picky kids have eaten here twice, and they still want to come back. They eat everything on their plates. Nice patio for warmer days, and many BIG high quality TV’s always playing something good(and if they’re not, ask them to change it). Riverbend has become a new favorite place for lunch.

Food and atmosphere is great. Bunch of TV’s but not much of a sports selection. Overall service not that great and needs improvement

I’m pretty happy that Reverbend Brewing dropped the poker and added more tables to the place. The table tops were custom made and look pretty good. The food is good and the tv’s surround you so you can watch more than one game at a time. We saw the review about not being able to change the channels and I didn’t experience that. In fact, we’ve asked for hockey and got it. That wasn’t NFL Sunday, but they were helpful. I’ll be back and bring friends. Oh, try their pizza and red beer!

I didn’t realize this place had replaced Rivals… The Riverbend IPA(regular) I tried was actually really good. We ordered the Super Nachos with pulled pork. The recipe is a great idea, but it was not«super». VERY little cheese, and it was sort of globbed on a small portion of the chips; the plate was certainly NOT $ 11 worth. They need to take some lessons from 10 Barrel for THEIR nachos, etc.,(at least there you get what you pay for). I really get the impression that it’s over-priced –I mean most places in Bend are expensive, but most places you DO get what you pay for. The service I don’t have any complaints about. They do have a good selection of local beer besides their own. They DO have plenty of big screen TVs strategically placed everywhere on different channels. I noticed a previous review indicating them not being able to change the station because they are«pre-programmed the night before?» –what’s that about?! Perhaps a little time under their belt is what they need? I don’t know if we’ll be back… first impressions are pretty important.

I have seen this location be so many different things. It is a great place just too far from anything else to be a good location. Dropped in to try the new beers. They do brew on site… across the parking lot. had a sampler. overall very good. the beers were still a bit young but had potential. one flavor had a «homebrew» taste to it that the server acknowledged when we mentioned it. As it was a sampler no big deal. The service was good. They need some time to establish themselves and I will go back and try again.

There are plenty of TVs to catch sports. Our family of 3 went for dinner. My husband had a red beer to start off and he enjoyed it. He had a burger and fries. The burger was juicy and the fries crisp and well done. Our daughter had a grilled cheese sandwich and the same well done fries which she didn’t care for. She thought they were too well done. I tasted them and thought they were good. I had half a crispy chicken salad. It was larger than I thought it would be and it was delicious. It was time for dessert so my daughter and I got the fried twinkies and my husband got another beer, an IPA. The twinkies were crispy and brown and served with a dusting of powdered sugar and some Hershey’s syrup drizzled over them. We both felt that they were good but the cream is lost when they are deep fried so we felt they needed some whipped cream. The waiter told us he appreciated our feedback and they’d think about adding whipped cream. That made my daughter feel special that he listened. They were not busy so we got our food and drinks very quickly. The staff is very friendly and we will go back. The prices were reasonable and the food plenty
