My boyfriend got his stereo installed for a little under 1000 and we have had nothin but problems with it. The deck that was installed will randomly shut off and not let us play any sort of music. He has checked the cables and it has been lose cables but it just shut off AGAIN and lose cables doesn’t seem to be the problem. Would never recommend them to anyone.

I came in and spoke to the owner about an install for my daughters truck. I had in advance listed the parts that I purchased online. We had to go over all aspects of the install in order for him to bill me. They talked me into some speakers that they sold(thats not the complaint). We had a deck with Bluetooth and xm Sirius, 6 speakers, amp, sub with 2 speakers and backup camera. I paid in advance. We picked up the truck for her birthday. To my surprise the xm Sirius will only play through front speakers. No bass and you must turn up the stereo to three times the volume to hear xm Sirius. I called immediatly, the owner was very cordial and nice. The next time I was in bend bring it bye. My daughter who is 17 stopped in to have them check it out. They now tell us that they don’t know how to operate kenwood decks? They new how to operate them when they took my money to install them. At no time did any one say we can’t install or program a kenwood deck. So I call the owner and explain. He basically said its the deck, then the module? They don’t know anything about kenwood. That’s right a stereo store doesn’t know how to install kenwood. Now the owner probably didn’t take his Medication when I called. He was more concerned about insulting me and calling me a Californian(I insure you I was born in Oregon-native) than dealing with the problem. This is the only complaint I have with them. They sold me a service. The service was installing the components we had discussed and to insure those products work. So here we are without satellite, after shelling out $ 1500. Then to deal with a infant, tantrum throwing businessman. Maybe you should go live in goldfield, NV. You won’t have to worry about customer service. I’ve only just begun!

I was directed to this shop when inquiring about getting a new car stereo installed. On 12−9−14, I went and was very pleased with the customer service. I told the staff person what I wanted and my budget for this stereo replacement and was shown 3 units that all met my needs. I picked the unit I wanted and asked if it would take long to get it installed, hopefully within a week. The man said«right now» as they had had a install cancellation that morning. I was very happy to have it installed right then. A very nice man did the installation and in 30 minutes, I was out the door. The installation was perfect and the service and price were terrific. I can highly recommend Sargent’s Stereo over on Third St next to Sweetheart Donuts. If you need a great car stereo in a wide variety of prices and manufacturers and a great install, GOHERE!

I went to another stereo establishment and they quoted me $ 2,000 for what I was looking for. I hesitantly went into Sargent’s before heading to Best Buy(I prefer dealing locally). ITWASTHEBESTDECISIONEVER! Super friendly people and VERY knowledgeable. Their prices were better than every other place I went to and they installed my system in 45 mins. Better yet…$ 180 all said and done!

My partner has shopped there for 30 years and raves about their service, product and price. I tried them and was impressed! They bent over backwards to give me such a reasonable deal with a wonderful stereo. They were easy to work with on both the sales and service side. I am very happy with my stereo.
